School

Postby HwaRang777 » Sun Dec 21, 2003 5:40 pm

I know that as a student I'm supposed to study and do everything within moral and legal standards to get good grades, but I feel that something is holding me back from getting good grades, the fact that I can't get at least A and up, however I'm quite sure I don't have ADD or any mental condition that would pull me from full potential. So, please pray for me so that either I find out what it is that's wrong with me or get my grades up again.

I know how you feel, HwaRang, because grades are important to me, too. Sometimes school's hard, and sometimes it seems that grades take up too much of our minds. Just remember (like the Lord has reminded me of lately) that life is more than getting A's and doing well in school. That's definitely very important, but it's also even more important that we pass God's "tests," something I'm trying my best to do each day! I don't know anything about your personal work for the Lord, but if you're in a good position there, you're on the right track already!

Sorry for rambling a little. I'll pray for you and hope you can do well in school!

It sounds like a broad range, can't really pin it down. Hmm, I'll pray for you.

I'll pray for you as well. I'm in college and I had a hard time learning this semester that I can't always make an A - that sometimes my best may well be a B. I always thought that if I tried hard enough that I should be able to ace any class, but not so. Your problem may be entirely different, but still, I'll pray for you, and hope things turn out for the best.

I'll pray for you. ^_^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Consider it prayed for! :thumb:

Remember, C's are supposed to be average, so even a B is pretty good, and lots of great people didn't do so well in school, like Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein... Hey, I do terrible in school! Could that mean I'll be some famous historical figure someday? *ponder ponder* Then again, I'm sure lots of great people also did well in school... (but you don't hear about them as much, do ya?) Never mind then. Just do your best!

(Man, this message almost sounds like something out of 'Calvin and Hobbes.')
