Well, both me and my sis have separate users on Windows ME edition with passwords that we protect very carefully. So, to scare her one day, I got on the default user, put up the desktop she used, arranged her icons the same way she usually does, and stayed on it for a while. Unfortunately, she didn't freak out like I had hoped, but it was still fun.

Also, I use to like to look through all my sister's files, cause they'll still show up on the regular default user, and one day I found a file titled 'password.' It actually had the password for her user on it, and it did work. So, I didn't tell her I knew the password, and sooner or later, she dared me to try and guess it. She totally freaked out when I got it right on the first try, and to this day, I don't think she knows how I learned the password.

I wish I could do some more, shall we say, exciting, pranks, but I suppose I'll learn some sooner or later.

Windows login names are so incredibly unsafe. Even without hacking anything, there's a ton of strange stuff that can happen. For example, certain folders are in common with all profiles... like the trashcan (I'm not sure about ME, though).

When you find yourself in the company of a halfling and an ill-tempered
Dragon, remember, you do not have to outrun the Dragon...
...you just have to outrun the halfling.
