freaky nightmare I had three nights ago..

I had a really bad dream about three nights ago.
It concerns our lord.
when I was a kid we had a poster of jesus facing our bed.
every night I pray with my mom before we sleep.
I dream't that our poster of jesus was turning into a demonic looking picture, it grew three eyes below its other eyes and other indiscribable features.
it happened three times. first time was three years ago. second time two years ago. the last time was three nights ago..
what do you guys think is wrong?

I think you're subconscious is just trying to get the better of you. If satan knows you're sensitive towards things like this, of course he's going to try and shake you up with stuff like this. Be strong.

I had a similar experience not too long ago... a dream in which "Jesus" was horribly evil... in ways too awful to mention... In fact, I've chosen not to remember the details. But when I woke up, I was horrified that this was in my head. I knew it hadn't come from me, and it hadn't come from God... this pretty much left one option. I prayed that God would banish the images from my mind, and He did.

It seems to me that it's a standard attack from the Enemy... pray. "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
