So it's a Linux distro?

I'm well-acquainted with Unix -- my "personal data centre" runs mostly BSD UNIX (NetBSD, Mac OS X, OS/MP (Sun4)).

Welcome to the board! If it is Catholicism that you're interested in, feel free to PM me. I can direct you to some useful resources, although if you can contact a local priest: he will be able to do better. The churches usually run catechsim classes for those interested.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

All right, so "catholic" as opposed to "Catholic" in other words. Roman Catholic really only refers to those in the Roman or Latin rites (as opposed to Maronite, Chaldean, etc)
