The Time has Come: Bio-Saint

Postby Saint » Sat Sep 06, 2003 7:17 pm

Hello, how are you? I am well. Thanks for dropping by my bio thread.
Learn a little more about your friendly neighborhood Saint.

Name: Call me "Saint"
Age: 20 something...but it's always changing.
My Home: good old Alabama.
Occupation: College Student, Supervisor at CVS/Pharmacy (if you live along the eastcoast/southeast you should have one near you).
Major: I am studying Psychology and plan to receive a Masters in Counseling.
Hobbies: Anime, Manga, Video Games, Martial Arts (Aikido, Jujitsu), Running "it can be fun."
Talent?: i do act (how well? who knows.) i would put down writing, but i usually don't get far. I am know to have great stories. its just easier to tell them and if you act a little, give it some emotion, it can be fun. :)
What do "they" say: i am told i am "funny" and "crazy" (maybe i should get counseling myself?)
Relationships: Nope, it just does not seem to work out. I am too goofy or too serious. oh well, i guess i will just wait a little more.
Church: well its non-denominational so i just go by the bible (like most) just without some of the traditions that others have. Still i am all about grace. God blessed us all to send Jesus to die and be raised for our sins. He's too good. :)

First Anime: DBZ. it was Vegeta vs. Zarbon. "what's this art-style and story... interesting."
Fav. Anime: Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, GTO, and new interest RahXephon.
Avatar: he's Spike from Cowboy Bebop.
Video Games: Advance Wars series, Final Fantasy series, Resident Evil series (my brother started me on these).
Major Credit Card #'s: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-3036 or if that doesn't work i just use a number generator.. j/k.

Hair and Eyes: Brown
Tall? uhh... just 5'11"
Pepsi or Coke? why thank you. *tasty*
Still reading? Oh man... i'm out of ideas. if you have something to add then do so. PM me sometime, i'll buy you a cola.

Good-bye thanks for coming in, see ya around. :jump:

Neat-o. Where would you like to end up eventually?

To Shoo: I would like to end up working for myself, or with an organization that specifically works with young children who have been abused or abandoned or such. Yet, it is likely i will end up working a mix of them all and with different churches. (Since i will be counseling from a Christian standpoint... i mean how else would it really help). :)

Well, none of it is easy for me now. i took about 7 months off from running and martial arts. Needless to say i got a little out of shape. Still i like to do a lot of my running in the evening or later. i did do some "training" one year running at noon, up hills in June... thats when you get to enjoy that cottonmouth, fluffy-headed feeling and enjoy all the sparkles in the sky. (i did start walking before i died. :))

I've always wanted to learn some form of martial arts. Hmm... I should do just that. Anyways, you're an interesting fellow! I think working with a church would be most enjoyable.
"So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor."

2 Samuel 6: 21&22

"I am going to take this bucket of water and pour it on the flames of hell, and then I am going to use this torch to burn down the gates of paradise so that people will not love God for want of heaven or fear of hell, but because He is God."

Hi Saint! ^-^
I'm all about grace too. It's great!

I used to be involved in Tae Kwan do and Tung so do, but now I watch my kids in Aikido. If I took a martial art again - I still use my kicking bag - I would do Aikido. It is such a centered form. I love the bokken, also. *kickin b---*

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
