FInally listed my Best Anime of 2011. I went ahead and linked to my reviews for each coice in the post- no, I don't have reviews for F/Z, Maruwaru, or Chihayafuru yet, but I'm confident in their places on my list.

Fate/Zero will likely have a review when it airs on CR on the 31st, and Maruwaru soon after, along with a few manga reviews to go with them.

Thanks, muzik_girl!

Anycase, doing a New Year's Eve review update, with my review for
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (manga)

and my first Great Debate between the anime and the manga for Nausicaa.

I might even get one up for Fate/Zero if I feel like it!

A suggestion for a lengthy manga well worth reviewing: Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.

Very nice website you have.

@ ClosetOtaku- you are far from the first person to recommend that one! xD I'll get to it... the moment I stop finding interesting new series at my local library ^.^" I expect within the next month, though. And thank you.

Anyway, have updated again with a review for The Legend of Chun Hyang (man, I'm slowly but surely making my way through all the CLAMP titles)

I couldn't even wait a day before posting how horrific Phantom Dream was. I can NOT believe this was by the same mangaka as Fruits Basket.

My blog should have been blacked out in protest of PIPA/SOPA today, still have a bar in the corner about it.

In the meanwhile, I'll see about getting my reviews for Clannad S1 and Gankutsuou up.

Well, yeah. I don't trust that it won't be misused. There was code I was able to set up to manage that. Google is your friend.

^ I'm not sure how helpful it will be with that, since virtually none of the stuff I think you'd be interested in is licensed. ...Sorry.

You must watch Tale of a Street Corner .

It is good in art and in messages. Even by today's standards.

I went ahead and read your review on Clannad, given the board discussion on it recently. Very nice, though I did notice you didn't enjoy the Kotomi arc that much.
I think the other world was actually a direct reference to the girl in the field with the robot.
I await your review of Last Exile !! (one of the few others I've seen that you haven't reviewed yet)

EDIT: Also, for your terminology page, you might consider adding "bishi", "moe", and such, since those are also common terms (or at least they are in my experience)

While not a review, I have posted that I'm having a giveaway, to clean out some anime and manga that I don't feel like keeping. There are 10 lots... this time around! There will actually be a second giveaway in about two months, for some more anime and manga I'll be getting rid of.

Atria35, if you love Evangelion I recommend you add Texhnolyze to your list. [The characters are perhaps less likable than in NGE, but by the end of the series you can't help but find yourself rooting for them. Also, the ending is extremely powerful. And the music is outstanding - among the best I've heard in an anime yet.
Also, it is NOT a sunny, happy series. It makes NGE look like a Disney film (in tone) by comparison.] And also Hands down is the single greatest work of Cyberpunk ever made and is one of the most Brilliant Works of Fiction I have ever seen.

It was made by the same team who made Haibane Renmei and Lain.
I like to think of them [Haibane Renmei, Lain, Texhnolyze] as The Divine Comedy of anime. (Texhnolyze-Inferno, Haibane Renmei-Paradise, Lain-Purgatory)

It's on my list. At some point. I love ABe, and his designs and art, so it's one that I'll get to... eventually! Just like Neia_7.
