first American cartoon

I was wondering what your first American cartoon was. I think mine might've been The Jetsons or a Looney Tunes short.

I think mine was one of the old Looney Tunes shorts. My parents bought this set of 'Golden Age of Looney Tunes" cassettes way back, and my siblings and I watched them to death. I have no idea which short I'd have seen first, though. *is too lazy to find the box for volume 1*

I actually don't remember. If I had to guess I'd say Looney Tunes or something by Disney.

There used to be something on TV called K-Mouse, if I remember correctly. It played a lot of classic Disney cartoons. That's how I first saw the Goofy short with him as Mr. Walker/Wheeler, Donald with the hiccuping ostrich, and others. Speaking of Donald, I did see a few where he was drafted into the Army. Not the Nazi one, though.

I really can't remember but it was something along the lines of the Flintstones, The Jetsons and Looney Tunes.

Who knows? My dad was popping me down in front of the tv since before I could walk.

However, the first one I remember is Thomas the Tank Engine.

Probably Loony Tunes. Though it might be one of the old Winne the Pooh tapes, you know the good ones.

Well, I watched all these around the same time, when I was really young, so I don't really remember, but:

Casper the Friendly Ghost
Scooby-Doo
Baby Huey
Popeye (though not very often)
Tom and Jerry
The Flintstones
The Jetsons
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.

I don't know, I watched a lot of them as a kid.

Probably Looney Tunes or The Simpsons, though. My parents let us watch The Simpsons from a very early age. I still remember our VHS tape of them, which was recorded from the TV. haha used to watch it all the time.

I know I also watched Scooby Doo a lot when I was really young, but I'm not sure if it was my first.

I actually thought that was a great show! I loved its insight into a child's mind.
