Ermph, I'm sort of new here and forgot to post here so I guess I will now. *3*

Lemme see, I'm EndearingHotaru (haha, duh?) but you can call me Taru or Taru-chan. I'm a die-hard Harry Potter fan (if that's not obvious) and yes -- I am a Christian who believes it is not evil! (shakes fist) Not only am I new to CAA but I am also new to anime/manga in general. I'm not sure when or how my interest first started for it, but all I know is I'm sure glad it did!
The first anime I watched was Vampire Knight. I'm not exactly sure if that's the best anime to start out on, but I did. ;P I tried to read the manga, but they're so long and the incest totally wiped me out (no offense of any kind to VK fans!). I've only seen/read a few animes since then: Fruits Basket, Honey and Clover, and Ouran Highschool Host Club. I'm sort of interested in reading the Kuroshitsuji manga but I'm still wavering nervously seeings how there aren't any reviews for that on here. :sweat: Heh, plus I've heard the anime is pretty bad. So, as I already said, I'm a Christian -- a firm believer. I mainly listen to Christian rock, but techno, dance, dubstep, classical, nerdy show tunes, and some secular rock are all on my tops list, too. I'm also willing to try anything new. :grin: Anything but rap or country. x3 I love movies. :) If anyone was to ask me my favorite movie, I don't think I would have an answer. x3 My favorite wavers from what I'm watching at that moment or what I'm in the mood for. I also love cartoons (how childish, right?). Spongebob, The Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, Total Drama series, 6teen, The Angry Beavers, Looney Tunes are all some of my favorites. :hug: I love reading, writing, and drawing. I like to draw anime, although I'm far from being good, it's a constant practice. Maybe one day I'll get better. I like to read anything, really. Books are my friends. :hug: And for writing, I like to write anything. If any of you guys know what fanfiction.net is, I have an account on that if you're interested in reading some of my (lame) stories. :sweat: Well, I think I've made this introduction to me long enough. :eh: You're all probably bored by now. Heh, sorry, long writings come natural to me. It sucks in many ways. Well, thanks for reading my boring-ness! Hope to meet some people on here who will hold silly conversations with me. :jump:

Bye!

Hello and a very warm welcome to you, EndearingHotaru. I hope you enjoy it here. ^_^

I'm so sorry your first anime was Vampire Knight. XD;;
Kuroshitsuji is mostly okay, though not on the top of my list of recommendations. Thinking about it now, I should put a review up for it.

Haha! Yeah, it sorta warded me off anime for a while till I happened to come across Fruits Basket. xD
Yes, someone reviewing it would be nice. xD I'm kind scared to watch and/or read it.

Hello! Welcome!!! :D

One of my first manga was Utena sooo, yeah. >.> Not to mention I was a mere 6th grader at the time. eh-heh. heh. -__-;;;;

Though this review isn't christian I found it helpful, where some, erm, content issues are concerned in Kuroshitsuji. >.> Not that the article has anything bad in and of itself.

Welcome to CAA, we have many friendly faces, and (likely no familiar places)
It's such a different community here, I really hope you enjoy it here :)

Hi welcome new person! I'm rather new, too! ^^

I love cartoons too! Have you seen Invader Zim? That's probably my most favorite. :3 Also, you might want to try watching Sgt. Frog as your next anime. It has a very Western cartoon feel to it while still being pretty Japanese and anime-ish.

Yes, thank you very much for the welcome. :) As for Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler), I've been doing a ton of research on it. I haven't found any particularly "Christian" reviews on it, but I have found some that are secular and ward me off at a great distance from the anime. xD I've heard some good things about the manga, but I just don't feel right about watching nor reading something that contains such high satanic ritual. Many of the reviews said that they portray demons as good and angels as bad. I think my parents would skin me alive if they knew I was watching such a thing. xD Not that I agree with watching something like that myself. . . but that's my opinion. I did, however, brave up and attempt to watch the first episode, at least. Ah, I only got to the middle of it before it scared the crap out of me and had me running out of my room (not really, being overly-dramatic). It was very dark; I only had to watch the very beginning to see they were already throwing Christianity and the belief in a loving God as a lie.
Anyways, that reply for something so silly was quite long, forgive me. xD So to sum this up, from my. . . couple minute experience, if your quite strict with what you watch, then I highly do NOT recommend it. Actually, I don't recommend it at all whether you're strict with what you watch or not. xP
And thank you, everyone, for the welcomes. ^^

Agree with you on rap, but no country? My southerness is telling me to hurt you, or is that just the evil Lockon? Anyway, if you want a good example of a Class-A anime, try Trigun. I've just finished it, even though I've wanted to watch it for a long time *mumbles to self about over-protective mother*. It's got great characters, good action and a pretty good plot.

Haha, thank you for the suggestion! I will definitely try it! And as for the country, I don't necessarily hate it, so please don't dislike me! xD It just isn't my taste -- I'm sure if you knew me in person you'd know perfectly what I meant by that. xD And thank you for the welcome! :)

I thought you where new when I saw some of your other post.

Haha, yup! That's me! The noob who doesn't say anything about it. (smiles sheepishly)

AHHH YES!!! I'm a geek for those cartoons and definitely for Invaders Zim. ;D Mm, thank you for the suggestion. I'll definitely have to give it a try. ^^

Would you like a jelly baby?

I actually feel a bit frightened to answer that! xD

I was thinking about watching Black Butler as well, though I'll admit I was far more concerned about the shota-con vibes coming from that show. Little boys and men do not make a good couple. 0.o I've seen enough scarring fan-art to keep me away from that show forever thanks! :lol:

I'm assuming your name isn't from Sailor Moon.

Which is slightly disappointing.

I have a funny picture along the whole "Books are my friends" statement but I can't post it on here due to language. Ah well. Poor Twilight Sparkle.

Haha, I definitely agree! :sweat: Apparently the major fans of the show kept saying it was all for mere humor and that there really wasn't any type of relationship between the two. But, hellooo! It's so obvious. I'm quite scarred from the few minutes of the first episode. xD :dizzy:

Well I do love the ponies. In fact, there's nothing I love more than ponies! Except toku. And Dragon Quest. And steak. And God. And cool weather. And cats. And sleep.

Come to think of it, there's lots of things I love more than ponies. But I still love ponies a lot.

Welcome!
"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus."
