Question Me. I Dare you!

Postby TopazRaven » Sat Sep 03, 2011 9:02 pm

So yeah...I made one of these things exactly 9 months ago I think, but I felt like making another one. We have some new members after all and I've been on CAA for almost a year now! Only 1 more month to go before my 1 year CAA anniversary! Yes I am excited. So anyway yes, ask any question you like if it pleases you. I promise to keep better track of this thread, no question shall go unanswered!
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NIV, Romans 8:38-39.

Is there an anime that you hate or dislike?

I wouldn't say there are any anime I hate. I haven't watched as many as some people on this site. Though I will say I was never fond of FLCL. I tried watching Vampire Knight and Chobits before as well and just didn't like them either.

Do you have a Friend in China? And if so, do you write in Chinese to your friend?

I actually had a pen-pal from Hong Kong when I was in middle school, but I could never write in Chinese. I sadly lost contact with her many years ago and don't have her address anymore. I got lazy and I think I just stopped writing after awhile. Then I guess the old letters got thrown out somehow. Thinking back on it now I feel pretty terrible about it. I wish I'd been more responsible and I wonder what things would have been like if I could still write to her today.

Do you like YouTube?

I don't like YouTube. I LOVE YouTube! xD

Do you dig Giant Robots?

If they are Transformers then heck yes! Otherwise this theme has never really caught my attention much.

What is your Typing Speed in WPM?

I honestly have no idea. Sorry!

Is the glass half empty or half full?

I'd say both.

If you had a time machine: Would you:
1.) Stay here.
2.) Go to the Past.
3.) Go to the Future.

As long as it's only for a visit I'd like to see what the future is like.

Do you listen to J-Pop?

No, not really.

Have you ever had to fire people? What were the reasons, and how did you handle the situation?

Nope. Thank goodness to. I don't think I could do it. 0.o

What's the longest you've gone without electricity?

A week. Last winter a branch from my neighbor's tree fell on the wires in our backyard and took out our electricty in an intense blizzard.

How many pets do you have?

To many. Currently 8 cats, a dog and a bird. So 10 in all.

What comes to your mind when I say "joy"?

Chocolate.

Have you ever been bit by any wild animals before?

No, but I have been bitten badly by a stray cat I was taking care of before. I probably should have went to the hospital because it was a deep bite and she didn't have a rabies shot. Considering that was around 5 years ago I think it's safe to say she never had rabies.

True/False: You learn something new everyday?

True. I usually do. One way or another.

Do you watch sports regularly?

No, but I do enjoy hockey. Soccer, baseball, lacross and football can be interesting to though.

Do scary movies or games ever scare you?

Oh heck yes! An episode of CSI or Ciminal Minds is enough to give me nightmares. I generally don't like really scary movies or video games and just avoid them.

What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

Vanilla, strawberry or mint chocolate chip. I'm boring....

Do you love Cyberpunk?

I don't really know what that is.

Do you wish your name was different?

My real name? Yes, it's so dumb and plain.

Do you use deviantArt?

Yes, I do! Can't draw though sadly.

Do you have a favorite song?

To many! Currently I've noticed I listen to these songs a lot though.
Hurricane by 30 Seconds to Mars.
Story of Us by Taylor Swift.
Pain by Hollywood Undead. Don't look that one up if cursing bothers you.
Break Myself by Something Cooperate.

I'm strange. xD

What's the Oldest Anime you have watched?

Probably Jungle Emperor or Ginga Nagaraboshi Gin.

PC or Mac?

PC. Have owned one my whole life. :D

What anime do you think is Underrated?

I don't really know. Most of the series I've watched seem pretty popular. Maybe Gun x Sword or Paranoia Agent.

Can you speak German?

No. Which is kind of sad since I am German from my mother's side of the family. Her great grandmother came to the US somewhere around WWII time and could barley even speak a word of English when she first arrived.

What's your favorite Anime Movie?

Spirited Away since it was the first anime movie I saw that wasn't Pokemon and that I actually realized was from Japan.

Would you like a Cookie?

Yes please! Are they peanut butter!

Okay, I think I got all them questions.

What's your favorite place in the world to go?

Got a favorite mineral or rock? How about a fossil?

What's your greatest achievement in life?

I haven't been many places sadly. New Jersey I guess. There is more to do there then the area where I live.

Got a favorite mineral or rock? How about a fossil?

Not really. I like all rocks. I used to collect them as a child. Along with seashells.

What's your greatest achievement in life?

I don't even think I have one. What have I done with my life!? *Sobs.*

1. Sure. I'd like to think all the CAA members are my friends. I love you all. In a completley platonic and non-stalker way.

2. I LOVE cookes!

3. No I don't. :(

4. I don't have one. To many I like!

5. 1 John 4:7-12, NIV:
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

Plus the two in my singnature.

6. Indeed I do.

Have you ever tried to write stories?
Did you ever have a fail moment when you couldn't read your writing?
Have you ever had more than 50 pets at a time? (I did once. My patio was full to the brim of parakeets. We had like, 50 of them, plus my dog and cat. So yeah. I had a ton at one time. o.o)
Do you have a favorite Christian rock band? If so, what is it?
Have you ever heard of The Hunger Games?
Would you like a churro?

Yes! They were all so very fail to. I wrote most of them when I was around 12 and 13. They were really terrible. :D

Plenty of times. I can be really sloppy.

No, I think the most pets I've had at one time was about 15.

Yep. I like Skillet and Red best it seems. I'm going to assume they count as rock.

I've heard of The Hunger Games and I've been meaning to read them at some point.

Yes please! I'm hungry!

Erm, this really isn't the place to discuss anything theological, so I suggest making a serpate thread if that's what you want. I have seen a few episodes of the original FMA anime and I didn't have a problem with it.

1.) No, my birthstone is actually the ruby. I just like topaz. xD I use TopazRaven for pretty much any site I'm on. The first website I tried to make an account on I was actually going to be GarnetRaven (garnets are awesome), but that name was taken so I then I just used TopazRaven. xD

1.) I like ravens. I don't care what anyone says, they are awsome birds. I'm tired of them being called evil. That's discrimination I tell you!

2.) Most of the time it's just something I've started thinking about or a subject that's bothering me. I have no one to talk to about these things offline and I don't really trust other websites for most of the stuff I post on here, so I ask all the wonderful people of CAA what their opinion is!

3.) I would have silently raged.

4.) I got bored. I probably should have waited.

5.) Not really. I used to read Hetalia: Axis Powers, but now I just watch the anime due to being lazy.

6.) Through Yahoo Answers. I was asking if Christians are allowed to watch anime and someone kindly directed me here.

7.) A bacon cheeseburger. Though this is wistful thinking. I have stomach issues and can't handle such a burger any longer.

8.) Jack London, C.S. Lewis, David Clement-Davies, Erin Hunter, Kathryn Lasky, Cornelia Funke and probably more I'm not remembering right now.

9.) I'm kind of just neutral to it. I don't see the big deal about it.

10.) Wolf's Rain, Ginga Nagaraboshi Gin, Ginga Densetsu Weed, Axis Powers Hetalia, Fruit's Basket, Durarara, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, InuYasha, Naruto, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and Kimba the White Lion/Jungle Emperor.
