I finished Last Window! :jump: That was a great game, and I really wish Cing hadn't gone out of business; I wanted a third Kyle Hyde game as soon as I was done :( Now I'm reading through the in-game novelization. (I don't know about anyone else, but I find it really cool that they have one.)

I'm also facing many frustrations with Metal Gear Solid, because my save states aren't working and I'm kind of stuck :stressed:

Right now I'm playing Two Worlds 2, just so the wait for Skyrim isn't so excruciating.
I haven't played for very long, but so far it's pretty decent.

Okay, getting pretty darn sick of waiting for Beyond Good & Evil to come out for download on PSN. Come on, now. Do I have to threaten groin injury to certain Sony CEA staff again?

So two trials expired after I played 2 minutes of one and 17 minutes of another because the 60 minutes is from as soon as you turn it on, not 60 minutes of consecutive play. Yeah... Wasn't too happy about that. I'm not gonna touch my Borderlands trial until I have an hour to devote to it.

My wife is learning to play Lilo and Stitch, which I got for free with PSN Plus. It's only gonna last, like, 20 more days. I tried to introduce her to Resistance, but she is taking a while to learn to aim and... she doesn't like it (only multiplayer... She'd probably not take well to being flooded by Chimaera.) She likes LBP, but when she saw me play Braid (which I got for 3.50) she said I wasted my money on LBP since I paid 60 bucks... I tried to explain about the creation aspect, and all the levels online, not sure if she understood. She likes watching me play Assassin's Creed because she likes seeing the recreated old cities. She also sort of liked MGS4, but only Chapter 3, for the same reason. And her absolute favorite game is Flower. I showed her Wipeout HD and Motorstorm, and she really hated Wipeout, but kind of liked Motorstorm.

Batman: Arkham Asylum on 360. This game is so awesome that if you should type in the word "awesome" in Google it should be the first hit in the search results.

Well, I would probably be playing Prince of Persia: Sands of Time if Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem hadn't corrupted my memory card!!! Yeah, I'm pretty sure I cried when that happened... over 60 hours of amazing gameplay... gone!!!

So, now I'm playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess!

So I'm playing the new American McGee game, and it's really not all that bad. I went in fully expecting it to suck, despite (and maybe because of) the original game having been a huge part of my childhood. But the gameplay's pretty solid, the graphics are pretty, and to no one's surprise, the art deisgn is amazing. If I have any complaints, it's that the new soundtrack isn't as FREAKING AWESOME as the original.

It's pretentious and unnecessary, but Lord help me if I don't have a weak spot for goofy goth things.

So... many games are out of my ability to play (few I really know of that I would want, so I usually play whatever we have/get), but I have played/been playing Super Smash Bros. BRAWL (birthday present from my brother), Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (formerly my brother's DS game), Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (also formerly my brother's), Harvest Moon DS Cute (strangely... and this one was originally my sister's), The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (borrowing from my brother) and Super Scribblenauts...

Recently, I got the N64 working and played through Star Fox 64 (for the first time in years). I got to the last boss... and lost all my arwings. Then the audio/video cables stopped working.

(Also making my own games on my computer...)

Since I obtained a Wii this Christmas, (Yay me!) I've been steadily buying games for it. The first two I bought for it (bought on the same day as the Console itself) were Super Mario Galaxy and No More Heroes. I'm almost done Mario Galaxy, at the Green Stars. Haven't played much NMH, but I do like the "hack-n-slash" feel to it. Great stress reliever. :brow:

Next game I bought was Smash Bros Brawl. Having played a bit of Melee (After finding out my copy of Melee works on my Wii) I had to get it. I'm still a bit of a newbie, but I'm learning the ropes as I go along. Next up were Okami and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Both are *fantastic* games. Love them to death. Only problem I have with Twilight Princess is the brown-ness of a few levels. It's not that big of a deal, but it's definitely noticeable. I bought Okami from watching a Let's Play on YouTube (Chuggaconroy) cause it looked amazing.

Finally, I bought Goldeneye: 007 (With the Golden Classic Controller) and Resident Evil 4. My first two shooting games for Wii. I played both on the day I received them from Amazon. I gravitated more towards Goldeneye than RE4. I just like games with Multiplayer, I suppose.

I finally got past that Raven dude in Metal Gear Solid! :forehead: I think he's got the worst voice acting of any game I've ever played x.x

I also started Trace Memory, purely out of loyalty to the sadly-bankrupt Cing :sniffle: It seems fairly good so far - the controls aren't as tight as the Kyle Hyde games, the puzzles have been extremely easy so far, and the story doesn't look like it'll be as interesting as their later games, but I'm not bored yet! :thumb:

 I guess not. I did hear a couple of clips from a video called "The top 50 worst video game voice acting moments," and yeah...those were pretty bad.

I got to the otaku in Metal Gear Solid! XD That was funny. Otacon...isn't that a real convention someplace? I also managed to defeat the cyborg dude with my gun, while apparently you're supposed to punch him instead <_< It took forever, but it was all I could figure out. Guess that makes me dense.

I also felt dense in Trace Memory, because all the puzzles had been easy-peasy until I got to one where I had to see a reflection of a picture. Apparently, my DS is slightly dysfunctional, because when I start closing it, the top screen goes white. Thus, no reflection on the bottom screen. Oh well, at least I have sisters with DSes.

Finally finished Mass Effect 2, great gameplay, good story; I wish they had come up with something a little more interesting instead of the planet scanning minigame, the other minigames were good though.

Now playing Secret Agent Clank (PS2) some good overdone spy movie cliches, long but rare, load times though.

Picked up the God of War HD collection, so I'll be playing through the trilogy.

Currently on GoW 1, at the part where you're balancing on the rafters, hopping over rotating blades. I swear, in the whole game that's the part I hate the most.

Ah, I see you noticed the Chaos Wars section. I think that one probably gets the award for worst voice acting of any game ever in my book. This is the video that introduced me to it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAtC1SzWSXg

The explanation for it seems to be the team working on the game hired family members to do the voice acting to cut production costs.

Anyway. Working on beating Darksiders right now (at the last bit of the game), and I'm grinding my backup party members in FFIV After Years to fight the new secret boss added to the PSP version.

 Yeah, that's a pretty lame excuse for voice acting. "...but HAUUU do I get back to Tokyo?"

I also find it hilarious that people would pronounce "stingy" as "sting-ee," and that they would pronounce the P in "pshaw"

Anyway, I'm trundling right along in Metal Gear Solid. I fought Psycho Mantis, though I think I would have considered him much more clever if I had any other files still saved on my memory card. Still, a fun boss battle.

Pretty much this... It doesn't help that my computer doesn't run it too well. It's a great game and I want to play it more, I'm just awful at it. Anyway...

Super Robot Wars Judgment (GBA) - Welp, it's got mecha, that's all that matters. There's no UC Gundams in this one, and so far, Nadesico, Gundam SEED and some 80s real-robot show have picked up their slack. Somehow, despite not watching any of the shows involved, I understand the story. About 6 stages in, it's a pretty good game, a little easier than I remember SRW being, relying mostly on unexpected enemy reinforcement waves to keep things tough, but I can still recommend it.

Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony (PC/Steam) - Retro-flavored indie shmup goodness. The designers really liked Cave's stuff (especially DoDonPachi), what with the brightly-colored bullets, enemy patterns made for chaining, and some very DDP-ish weapons to choose from. I love the vaunt system; it's one of the most original bomb/scoring systems I've seen in a long while. Overall, it's not as great as Raizing's stuff, or DDP, or even last year's Hydorah (then again, few things are), and it relies on a lot of back-tracking to previous levels, but it's still worth what you pay for it.
We are loved even though we suck.
