What Christmas specials/movies/whatever did you watch this year?

Postby Blitzkrieg1701 » Sat Dec 25, 2010 4:35 pm

We've already had a thread about what everyone's favorite Christmas thing is, but let's go a little broader. To the best you can recall, list ALL the specials and movies and such that you saw this year (and if you realize you haven't gotten around to your favorite yet... well, there's still a few hours left!)

My personal watch list this year:

Miracle of 34th Street
Frosty the Snowman
Frosty's Winter Wonderland
Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol
The Snowman
The Garfield Christmas Special
T'was The Night Before Christmas
Mickey's Christmas Carol
How The Grinch Stole Christmas

...clearly, I lean more heavily on the "special" side of things than the "movies."

Miracle on 34th St. (for the first time! Loved it!)

Frosty the Snowman
A Flight Before Christmas
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (both the cartoon and the Jim Carrey version)
The Festivus episode of Seinfeld
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

Did you watch the original version or the newer version?

I miss out on seeing Frosty the Snowman this year as I had things to do.

But I did watch Prep and Landing and Christmas Vacation.

Didn't get to watch the Grinch cartoon or The Christmas Toy yet, but I'll probably do that in a couple days.
