Fellow College Students - What's your school?

Hi all!

Haven't been in here in a while, but I thought I'd drop by and say "howdy!" Been super busy lately since I just began my freshman year at Regent University. And by "at" I mean, virtually--I'll be doing my entire bachelor's degree online since I'm in WA and Regent is in VA! It's tough to do, but I really like the school, so I prefer that to going to a local, secular college.

I'm an adult student--29 and just getting started! So I feel a little behind and out of practice. I have a lot of writing to do by Friday (2 papers totaling about 14 pages all together) and I'm starting to stress a little. It's really difficult because I have a full-time school load and I'm working a lot of hours at my job--supposed to be 20 hrs a week, but currently working FT since we're short-staffed. I don't know how some people manage to do all this AND be parents at the same time! How do they find the time?!

Prayers for my success are appreciated! I'm working hard so that I can have a high GPA and possibly score some merit-based awards for the next school year. Just wondering: who else is a student and what colleges/universities are you going to? If anyone else is with Regent, please look me up on facebook (facebook.com/autumnhammer) and add me to your Pronto messenger (autuham). I can use all the friendship and support I can get!

<3 Thanks! :jump:

Since this thread is on the public boards, I'm going to go ahead and close it--since CAA is not a site that can only be seen by members, it may not be in our younger members' best interest to divulge that kind of personal information. I definitely wish you well in your college endeavors, though! It's never too late to start, and I applaud you for going in at this stage in your life!
