CRAP. We're already 100+ behind Japan, how much farther behind are we going to get? I'm really disappointed.

Wow, major kid networks are finally picking up older kid anime again (as in not Pokemon or YuGiOh or Bakugan or anything still on CN). First DisneyXD with Naruto Shippuden, and now Nicktoons. I wonder how long it will be before some kid channel picks up a shojo anime? The last mainstream one must have been Mew Mew Power, and that was a crappy dub.

Also, what is WITH adult swim why cant they get some new stuff? I dont know wat, but something good! Love FMA, but I need more good anime thats not raunchy!

I take that your watching FMA Brotherhood on Adult Swim?

Adult Swim has said they have pick up two other anime titles other then FMA:Brotherhood.

New eps of Bleach was plan for April, but the word is. It will have to be push back a bit.

Things aren't doing that much better for Bleach in Japan either. The filler arcs just keep coming one after another. What is the latest one called? 'Beast Swords' or something like that?

Kadokawa actually streamed Haruhi-chan and Nyoro~n Churuya-san in Japanese and with (poor) English subs back last February. Of course, they took them down after a few weeks, but yeah, they were certainly available at one point.

I'm glad that you said that. For the life of me, I was trying to remember if they did streamed them both last year with very bad English subs.

I had the feeling that they did and it as bugging me to no end, if I was right about them doing that or not.

I just trying to remember what Nyoro~n Churuya-san was about. After you link the thread that you had last Feb, I now remember a little talk about it, but I forgot all about what it was about.

bad news everyone. Looks like Cartoon Network is never going to play new Bleach. After they played their last episode (ep 167), they started COMPLETELY over:bang::comp:

How is that a wall banger, the best part of Bleach is it's beginning. Heck, last night was the first time in forever I've watched Bleach and enjoyed it, because they started with it's quality parts, rather than mediocre story and bad animation.

It's a wall-banger because people who can't go online are using Adult Swim to watch Bleach, so they lose some viewers. But then, if Cartoon Network really cared about their viewers, they wouldn't have dropped Toonami in favor of live-action programming. THAT NO ONE IS WATCHING!
Edit: it's not CN's fault. Viz is still behind
anyway, Funimation and 4Kids have announced that the Dragonball Kai action anime series will air on Saturdays during the 2010-2011 season on TheCW4Kids.

It seems that SYFY Channel has moved the Monday Anime block back an hour the past two weeks. Is this to be the norm to come on SYFY?

Bleach starting over is good for new fans. In my opinion Bleach went from good to great to excellent to utterly outstanding when it reached its peak at the end of the Soul Society arc. Once the Bount arc began, Bleach has never even come close to reaching where it was, even after it got out of filler. So by showing episode 1+ again, it may get some new fans, even remind some cynics (like me) that the series was once good.

Of course, there are those of us who want to see new episodes dubbed. I've given in and started watching fansubs. I'll watch the dubs once they come along (if ever) but I got sick and tired of being spoiled every time I typed a Bleach character's name into Google. So I'm getting caught up, slowly but surely.

If you get any word on when Bleach is coming back dubbed, please tell me, this will be the first place I look.

*beep* Roy is not here to answer your messages. However, I am.
According to my cable provider's website, the anime block is back on its original time.

I would have to disagree. While I do enjoy Vic's VA roles, and he does a relatively good job with both characters, I think it detracts from each of the shows. They become interconnected in one's mind- in other words, the two shows run together and both lose what both shows had to offer. With Yasumori after it, Ed become so much less poignant. To recap: its a Vic overdose. We love him, but we need a break from Vic sometimes.

PS. This could be worse for me than you since I'm also watching Ouran at the moment.

Roy Mustang wrote:I take that your watching FMA Brotherhood on Adult Swim?

Yup. Cuz I like dubs and are too much of a cheap skate to buy em and feel guilty watching them online (Code Geass didnt count: Adult Swim robbed me of my opportunity: its my revenge on the companies ....:wow!: :bootout: sorry, airi's vindictive evil side just came out there. now im back.

But I watch it on TV cuz I read the manga and I dont wanna finish my entire FMA experience at one time...And I get in trouble if I stay on the computer too long...

Well, that's just your opinion.

Although Vic is in both, the two characters he does are not really that similar. I see a difference in both of the characters. Different likes, interests, and attitudes so it's not that bad.

I do enjoy both shows as they are. Sure more variety would be nice, but beggars can't be choosers. Honestly, we are lucky AS is even showing new episodes of any anime.

true, true....THANK YOU, AS!

but Vic's voice isn't that different from Yoshimori to Ed, so it bugs me.

Yeah, I guess I see your pain. You'll be hearing Yoshimori and think Ed, right? XD To be truthful, when I first heard Yoshimori, I thought, "Wait, is that Vic? Man, he sure gets around!" I've actually met Vic and talked with him(About like 10 minutes! We were in between panels at an Anime convention, so he talked to us about his own Christianity and sold me a CD of his he did made up of hymns on the piano along with his own autograph.), so I can be more tolerant of this.

Well, if they do any more Bleach, then we can break away from this a little. But that's only if you like Bleach. XD
