I picked up Halo 3:ODST last Tuesday and, I have to say, as a Halo fanboy, I absolutely love it. The campaign is great, the story is actually coherent, and the music, as the norm for the series, is awesome. Also, having a third of the cast of Firefly voice your main characters helps. XD

But no, I'd definitely recommend it to any Halo fan. I'm also playing a new Knights of the Old Republic 2 game using the TSL Restored Content Mod. Very excited about finally being able to play the game with the cut content rightfully restored.

Did you know you can also swap virtual save cards between PSP and PS3 now? So you can pick up where you left off on either. The inability to do that when the PS1 classics came out was annoying.

Derek -The Daring Pokemon - A cool, totally awesome Pokemon that uses his power of song, medical skills and powers of cool to make others see things differently. He is not temperamental, but he likes to pull pranks and grins when you fall into his traps. Usually, he styles a fedora and prances around on all fours, he's all black with a white belly.

Going out tomorrow straight on after work to pick up Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. I had tried to schedule some PTO for the day, but it didn't work out.

Astro Boy: Omega Factor (GBA). Play it now. It's better than what you'd think an Astro Boy game would be (especially if you haven't seen any of it like me). It's a beat-em-up/shoot-em-up made by Treasure (Ikaruga, Gunstar Heroes). It's got time travel. You'll like it. Promise.

This thread is suffering from a saddening lack of Brutal Legend. I am here to fill that void.

This game is just as awesome as I had hoped. The driving sections can be frustrating, but not maddeningly so. And sometimes it can get choppy, but those are the only complaints I have. I'm guessing that I'm around halfway through, and I already say this game is about 80% as good as Psychonauts.

Oh, that's out now? Nintendo has just given me an excuse to get my Wii fixed.

Anyway, I've pushed forward a couple chapters on Super Robot Taisen OG2. That's about it, really. I've been pretty busy lately.

Been playing Final Fantasy IV: The After Years when I get free time. It's fun, but only because I have so much nostalgia for Final Fantasy IV. I also plan to start FFXII at some point, though it may have to wait a few months.

I just finished my last final, so now I have time to actually play games. Not that I didn't already when I should've been studying/doing schoolwork, but now I can really get into it. Good thing, too, because I've got quite a backlog of games to finish.

SRW OG2 progress: I got to (what I think is) the second-to-last chapter on a car trip a few weeks ago, and am just now getting back to it. It's pretty brutal: basically, all the bad guys you haven't dealt with from two of the three factions set against you show up, and you fight them in sequence. By the time you reach the last one, you're almost out of energy, ammo and special attack points. And he's stupidly hard; he dishes out huge damage, a lot of HP, and he regenerates 10% of his full health every turn. I spent about 30-45 minutes just hacking away at him and getting nowhere because I wasn't doing any big hits, so the damage I was doing wasn't sticking.

Also, Iji, Front Mission (SNES), R-Type Final, Gran Turismo 4 and Star Control 2 are all crying out for me to finish them.
