New games you're dying to get?

Have a video game or or VG review? This is the place to to discuss it! We also accept discussions of board games and the like, but SHHH! Don't tell anyone, OK?

New games you're dying to get?

Heyo! Just thought this would be an interesting way to get some gamer's thoughts. You can talk about and discuss upcoming titles you're looking forward to, games you really want or a specific title or series you wish would come stateside. Also, games you think deserve a sequel. Thanks!

The new Trace Memory game for Wii. Even though I'm not so fond of the Wii itself, I relish the chance to have one of my favorite DS titles get a sequel. Now I'm just crossing my fingers for a "Hotel Dusk: Dawn of Death".

... no reason for the Hotel Dusk title. >.>

I'm looking forward to seeing what they're going to do with the legend of Spyro considering that first trilogy is done with.

I'm suddenly itching for Street Fighter IV, even knowing that I sucked at all the previous ones. Other than that, I got the games I wanted for my birthday. The new Call of Duty and Mirror's Edge.

They've made numerous games since the first trilogy.
So far, they've all been terrible.

The end of the PS1 marked the end of Spyro.

One word: MADWORLD!

Oh yeah, also Trace Memory 2 and the Wii-makes of Pikmin and Mario Power Tennis. Yes, it's official. There are Wii remakes. Speaking of which, I also want Dead Rising: Chop 'Til You Drop.

Games I want to come stateside: DISASTER Day of Crisis (I want that game NOW), 428: In A Blockaded Shibuya (a visual novel for the Wii by Sega which spawned the anime Canaan), the Wii Klonoa remake, DS Uranai Seikatsu (a DS fortune-teller? Sweet!), Legend of Stafy, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, the SaGa remakes, NANASHI NO GAME, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Soma Bringer, and Theta (a trippy puzzle game from Nintendo).

Games that deserve sequels: an enhanced version of Brawl (with more online features), Pokemon Snap, Kirby 64 (a Wii sequel, thank you), and that's it.

It seemed as if from your post you implied your excited to see what's in store for the series.
Just trying to prevent disappointment.

I'm not as critical of games as most people are. Just the fact that it's a dragon gives ME enough reason to see what's gonna happen next. I admit the games haven't been that great lately but they also haven't been as bad as you're making out. You act like there isn't any hope because you didn't enjoy the ones out so far. All they need added right now is more to do than just fight (A little bout of fishing as in twilight princess perhaps?), a much bigger, populated by much more than just enemies, (It seems to me that having only a few good guys you can talk makes the realm seem more like a small town than an actual world) you are free to travel it as you please dragon realm. A few side quests and a lot of unlockables that aren't just concept art. I'm talking characters, items, skins for your characters, and even just things that would make the entire game look crazy (Such as an option that makes your fire breath look like flowers)

No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle and Elemental: War of Magic are the main ones...yes both of them are coming out next year...there just aren't any games that I know are coming out this year that I'm currently like "Oh, I must buy this!" This may change if Blizzard releases Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty this year...then I'll be excited...even if my computer is unable to play it...

Street Fighter IV is about the only one right now. If my economic situation were better I'd be all over Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Madworld, and the new Jet Set Radio....but for now....Tetris is doing me fine.

Muramasa: the Demon Blade looks amazing. It's a sidescrolling hack 'n' slash with beautiful traditional japanese style graphics for the wii.

Yep. I also want that game. It's developed by Vanillaware, who did the great PS2 games Odin Sphere and GrimGrimoire.

This...

Oh, and

Final Fantasy 13
FF13 Vs
Uncharted 2
Resistance 3 (hopefully with offline multiplayer competitive and co-op this time, because this online-only crap makes me sad... R1 should not have been better than R2, and yet it was)
Bionic Commando
Silent Hill remake for WiiSP.

Definitely looking forward to the recently announced Metal Gear Solid 5, along with Chrono Trigger 2 and the Xbox 360 remake of Final Fantasy VI.
