Maxine looked back towards the window, her eyes wide. I'm going to kill her! She thought, then forced her expression to change before looking back at Kisho. She looked down, sighing silently. I guess I could stay for a little while longer.. I can't make myself a liar now.. She looked back up at him, "It's never good to assume things, Kishy." She slightly smirked. "Now, I think I saw an empty room over here." She said as she brushed past him and headed up the stairs. She let her smirk grow a little. Perhaps this is for the better.. Besides, I can always leave later. A part of her leaped for joy inside of her at this outcome.

[Nami]

Kisho arched a brow, 'Kishy?' he smirked, "alright well I will do my best not to assume again in the future." he watched her go by him and he glanced at Sio and went over to her ignoring Unico. "Siobhan, why are you being this way?" he asked.

Affinity sighed, "Well, perhaps I will be able to finish my mission here after all without being caught." she muttered as she left the kitchen with her drink and went to the library, the book was in her hand the whole time, she hadn't wanted to let go of it because it was full of the past and it was obvious to her that the others hadn't read it yet. Affinity settled down in a chair by the fireplace and continued to read.

Maxine moved down the hallway, glancing in the various open doors, looking for the empty one she saw earlier. Finally she found it, right next to a very gloomy looking room, which she assumed was Kisho's. The empty one wasn't much better though, but she liked it. The walls were black, and the curtains, dark blue. There was a dark blue desk against the wall near the closet, it had a small pile of neatly stacked blank papers and notepads on it. After making sure there was no signs that any one stayed in the room, she tossed her backpack on the bed. It's quilt was black with an intersting dark blue pattern on it. After examining the room and the two forest/wolf posters on the wall, she headed out of the room and down the stairs. She was headed for the kitchen.

"Why do you think?" Said Leano, growing a tail to make his point. "I couldn't stay with them if I can do that now can I?"

Kisho glowered, "why? Why does she annoy you? You don't even know her." he said, his hands clenching into fists.

Azrael stood in the kitchen of the Orphanage. He was rummaging around the refrigerator, looking for a bite to eat.
Yeah, so he wasn't here but for a few minutes, but it's still his home...right?
He pulled out a piece of lunch meat and began gnawing on it with his somewhat dull teeth.[/font]

[Lil_Ninja]

Maxine examined the boy at the fridge. She didn't recognize him, but that didn't surprise her, after all, she had only been here for a little while. She tried not to draw attention to herself as she walked towards the fridge. She was hungry, annoyed still from Siobhan, and her animal side was getting cranky. She silently walked behind the boy, looked around him to examine the contents of the fridge, then once she spotted a container of leftover chicken, she grabbed it, quickly turning and heading away once her precious food was in her clutches.

Conri felt a bit silly, of course that's why the kid was here.. "Oh, uh- right. That stinks." He said, folding his arms a bit awkwardly. He attempted to change the current flow of the conversation, "So, you a reptile or something?"

[Nami]

Kisho pushed her hand off his shoulder as his eyes narrowed and turned old as ice, "Not so naive Sio, I just expected that you were a nicer person...guess I was stupid to think that even someone like you would want to be my friend hm?" Kisho turned away and then said; "I wonder if the real Sio is still inside you somewhere... or if you were just always hiding your true side." he continued on inside after those words and jogged upstairs to his room where he slammed the door and blared the loudest music he could find. Kisho sat in a corner and leaned his head back against the wall. "So stupid..." he muttered. "I shouldn't trust anyone... I should've known."

May 14
It's only been a week since I last wrote anything, the threat of the "monster" children being killed has begun to get worse, I heard that sixteen children were killed already, I know it's only a matter of time before they find Lily and I.

Yesterday, Lily brought home a small kitten, who turned out to be one like her, he is about three years old, but his intelligence is like nothing I've ever seen before, his intellect surpasses my own, which is frightening I must admit. But he has a deep wound in his soul, and I can only imagine why that is, when we aren't around him, he will normally sit in a corner crying or whimpering, it's terrible. And there isn't anything I can do about it.

May 16
I'm afraid to write this, because I don't have much time, today three men came to my home and tried to break the door down, Lily and I had to take the little boy and hide down in the basement, I hid all my research down here and I am packing as I write, Lily and Daniel are helping, oh, Daniel is the boy's name by the way. I hear them stomping around above our heads, I must comfort the children...

May 17
We are safe now, but let me tell you what happened after I left off, after a very painfully long hour, they left and when I went up the house was wrecked, so I told the children to sneak out the back with my research and I poured oil all over the house and lit it on fire, we stood a safe distance away watching the house burn, my beautiful home had to be sacrificed. Lily had her arm around Daniel as we watched, she was crying when I glanced at her, I don't know what she was thinking, but I don't want her to blame herself. So I took her aside and explained to her why I had done it, she didn't seem to understand, but I'm sure she will, so we went to a close by house that's been abandon for years.
We spent the whole night there, and now we are cleaning up the place. Daniel and Lily are very silent, I don't know what they are thinking, but I certainly hope it's nothing bad.

Affinity rolled her eyes, "I wish this man would get on with what he with his research." she muttered, "All this sentimental stuff is making me sick."

[Robin Firedrake]

"Yeah... A little one but yes. What're you?" Replied Leano.

OOC: I was waiting for morning to do this but that looks like it will never come.

A flash of pink and grey shined in the moonlight, "It should only take an hours walk he said," the figure said. "I should of asked for a ride. It's a lot father away than I remember."

Though her complainting that could be heard for miles, the orphanage came into sight. With the last of her energy she picked up her rolling bag and ran for the door. In the light of the frontdoor light shown a young girl ina pink drees and grey hair pulled back into two fluffy pigtails with fox ears and tail that were also grey.

"Made it.", trying to catch her breath. "I can't wait to see everyone again.", said kozopi as she knocked on the door.

"Kisho...."

Azrael leaned back from the fridge to look at Maxine. He smirked and closed the door.
"You think that ya' got enough food there, Princess?"

He laughed and sat at the kitchen island, a bottle of raspberry tea in his hand.
Twisting the top off, the carbonation fizzed as he took a swig of the contents.
"What's your name, Princess?"[/font]

Maxine stopped when she heard the boy call her princess. If it was possible, a vein would be bulging out of her forehead as she made a very annoyed face. She turned to face the boy, her teeth clenched and her nostrils flared, she let out a hard sigh, almost growling. "If you call me that again, I will murder you." She fumed, then quickly calmed down, letting out a steady sigh. "People I like call me Maxine, but you can call me Max." She said, giving him a blank smirk.

"Coyote." Conri smiled. "I bet it's pretty convenient being able to become small. Sneaking around, being able to hide easily."

A boy with a black fedora and a black trench coat stood in the shadows near Kozopi, only a dim glow from his eyes showing. He stepped out of the shadow towards her. "Who are you, and-" he paused to tip his hat up a little, revealing his young face, "why are you so winded?"

[Robin Firedrake]

"And getting stepped on." Said Leano, grimacing. He pulled back his right sleeve and looked at a large scar on his arm. "You can defend yourself."

[Hana Ryuuzaki]

[font="palatino Linotype"]Azrael smirked and took yet another drought of his tea.
"Nice name. I'mma call you Maxy. Th'name's Azrael. Nice to meet'cha."

He held out his hand out in a form of greeting, hoping that she will catch the notion.[/font]

Maxine scoffed at his hand a little, but not noticeably. Her ears caught the sound of something upstairs. Was that music of some type? Oh yes, they call it a rock or something.. She gazed off to the side, thinking. Isn't that Kisho's music? Perhaps I should check on him. She thought, then gazed down at her food, grimacing. "Eh.. Can you hold this for me, Israel? Thanks." She didn't wait for a reaction, she just shoved the container of chicken at the boy, then darted up the stairs. If he's not upset, someone's going to pay dearly..I want my bloody chicken... She thought as she walked up to his bedroom door. She pushed her ear to the door, trying to hear Kisho through the blaring music. "Hrm.." She took her ear away and knocked loudly, hoping he would be able to hear. "Kish?" Her voice probably wasn't heard above the music.

An albino boy wearing only white and black clothing cautiously opened the medical room door, looking both ways to make sure no one was around before proceeding out. He spotted the back door and headed for it, passing the kitchen archway in the process.

"Erm, yeah.." Conri stuck his hands in his pocket. "But I don't need my animal to protect myself." He smirked, patting one of the guns in his vest holster. "Ain't she pretty?" He asked, loving the sight of his handgun. He takes such good care of his guns, you'd think they were alive or something. He even named his prized possessions.

[Derek_Is_Me]

Looking out at the night sky Storm saw a figure dart for the front door of the orphanage. The figure was dressed in a pink dress and had grey hair. Thinking it was odd for someone to just show up out of nowere Storm looked at the figure from the roof and shouted at her,"Hello!!! How can I help you miss?"

[Nami]

Kisho opened his eyes, he had been sucked into the music, but the loud knocking on his door and the voice of Maxine made him stand up and walk over to the door, he opened it only a crack; "What's up?" he asked calmly, hiding the depression he felt.

Affinity sat up, she smelled something odd, like dried blood and rabbits. She stood up her fox nose twitching as she stepped out of the library.

[Lil_Ninja]

Maxine took that opportunity to push his door open and walk in. She took a quick glance around the room, turned the music down a little, then turned back to him. "Why are you being emo all of the sudden?" She asked, folding her arms. "Do I need to beat someone up or something?"

[Nami]

Kisho blinked shocked that Maxine had just pushed into his room. "H-hey, what the..." he stopped when he heard her question and ran a hand through his orange and black hair, "It's nothing, you don't need to beat anyone up... I'm just upset I let myself trust someone here at this place." he said calmly, turning his face away from Max, he couldn't seem to hide his anger anymore and he didn't want her to see it.

Affinity edged down the hallway and looked around the corner, "Who is this?" she whispered as she saw the boy coming from the medical room.

Maxine let out a sigh when she realized who he was talking about. "Oh, the cat?" She tilted her head a little. "You don't have to worry about her, she's already on my hit list." She said, smirking a little, joking. It was her attempt to cheer him up. "But uh-- if it makes you feel better, I know how you feel-- with the getting betrayed." She told him, sticking her hands in her pocket. "But you know you can trust me, right?"

Jago froze. He sniffed the air, looking for the person the scent belonged to. When he saw her, he didn't know if he should either run or explain himself, but he was leaning more towards the first option. He took a step back, unsure of her intentions. He waited for her next move.

[Nami]

Kisho rubbed the back of his head and glanced at Maxine, he smirked a little, "yeah..." he muttered, "I know you know about being betrayed..." he paused and turned to look at her fully now. "I know, of all the people I do know, I know I can trust you." he smiled slightly.

Affinity stepped out from behind the hall wall, if her tail had been out it would have twitched, "hey, I haven't seen you before..." she said smiling, sensing his uneasiness. "Where did you come from?"

Maxine smiled. "Good." Her expression turned a bit eager, "Now let's go down to the kitchen. I'm hungry."

Jago paused for a moment, then figured he should just tell her. He pointed towards the door, meaning outside. He took a couple more steps towards it, never looking away from her. This girl.. He could sense a carnivore in her, which was bad for him.

[Nami]

Kisho couldn't help a smile, but he didn't really feel like going downstairs because he knew Siob was down there. "Nah, I'm not hungry."

Affinity glanced at the door, "oh, you came in huh?" she stepped toward him again slowly, "can you speak? Or are you to afraid to speak?" she asked calmly.

Maxine's expression got more edgy as she looked at him. "Look, I'm hungry, and I'm not leaving without you. So either you come downstairs with me, or someone's losing an arm." Her expression was totally serious.

Jago motioned towards his mouth and shook his head, meaning he was a mute. He took a step back when she took a step forward. This girl made him extremely uneasy. He then got an idea, he reached in his pocket, and pulled out a notepad and pencil he found in the medical room. He wrote with big letters so she could read, *I just want to leave, alright? I'm not going to cause any trouble.*

OOC: When I put words in *these*, it usually means it is being written. Best way I could think to do it XP.

Kisho blinked, he was startled by her expression and he sighed, "fine... let's go." he said stuffing his hands in his pockets and waited for Maxine to leave. 'Geez, she can really convince a person..' he thought slightly annoyed at his weakness for this girl.

Affinity arched a brow and stepped closer to read the writing and then back once she had finished, "ah, well alright I'm sure you could leave and no one would mind... except for the person who saved you." she smirked as she spoke, her fox attitude always came out when she was talking this way. She was reminded of the journal that was still in her hand, it's leather binding rubbed against her skin, agitating her slightly.

Maxine smirked victoriously as she moved passed him and headed downstairs, making sure he was behind her now and then. She took little notice to the boy and girl talking, she was more concerned with her food. But wait.. Wasn't that annoying boy holding it? Oh shoot.. She thought, grimacing as she walked into the kitchen.

Jago was about to tell the girl he didn't know where the boy was, but right then, he walked down the stairs. He wasn't quite sure what to do but stare, so that was all he did. Er.. How shall I go about this? He took a couple steps towards the boy, hoping to gain his attention.

Kisho grumbled slightly as he came down the steps and notice Affinity and Jago talking he stopped right outside the door to the kitchen and arched a brow, "what?" he asked, noticing the boy was staring at him.

Affinity glanced at Maxine and Kisho, and stepped back toward the library.

Leano was stunned for a minute, he stood gawping and then regained his composure. "Erm... Sorry. I, uh... Really don't like guns." He said while taking a few steps back.
