Conri smirked at what she said and slightly saluted her, not taking his eyes off of hers. "Yes ma'am." He said, almost mocking as he brushed past her and entered the house. He scanned the people in the kitchen and living room. The boy from before was having his wounds mended and the Marten from before was raiding the fridge. He chuckled a bit and walked to her when he couldn't see anyone that wasn't getting taken care of. He put his hand on the top of the fridge door as he watched her.

Maxine jumped when she realized someone was next to her. She put too much pressure on her bad leg, making her yelp. She quickly recovered and growled at the stranger.

Conri smiled and slightly held his hands up. "Don't worry Marten, I'm friendly."

Maxine narrowed her eyes and stared at him for a couple seconds, then turned back to the fridge and continued eating.

"Okay, so where did you come from Miguel and also did you already get that bullet out of my shoulder? Because it hurts like crazy in my right shoulder right now since you seem to be working on it."asked Storm to Miguel. And off in the corner of his eye Storm saw the little marten girl turn into her anichi form and go to the fridge and get some meat to eat. I wonder what shes doing and will she find me threatening since I'm a cat.

Miguel gave Barnibus a wry sidelong glance as he grinned and answered his impatient patient. "So this is what's driving you loco, eh?" he said, holding the bloody bullet in front of Storm's face where he could see it. Miguel snickered a little. "The worst is over over for now, chico. Try to relax a bit, si?" Miguel looked back at Barnibus again, who had just pulled out a fresh roll of medical tape, handing it to his companion. "Gracias, hombre." Miguel said as he took the tape from Barnibus and began wrapping it around Storms shoulder.

"Thanks bro. So does that mean I can keep the bullet as a good luck charm?"said Storm while Miguel slowly put the medical tape on his shoulder."Oh yeah, I almost forgot to ask. Is my shoulder blade broken because that bullet went straight into my shoulder?"

Maxine looked back up at Conri, annoyed that he hadn't left yet. "Is there something you want?" She asked, almost growling. He made her feel very uneasy, considering he looked the part of a hunter and she could feel the canine in him. Another animal that wasn't too friendly with her kind.

Conri shrugged as he watched her. "Nope." He said as he turned to leave. There was something about her that sparked his interest. Like she was hiding something. Or perhaps she was just afraid of something. He waked back to where Sio was and leaned against the door frame. "You're the head of the household, right?" He asked the feline. "What's the story behind that Marten girl?"

"Yes, I am the head of the orphanage, but she's a new one, I don't know much about her other than her Anichi form is a stinking Marten."

She winced, and waved it off.
"I mean, her form is a Marten. She arrived not too long ago, in fact. Why do you want to know?"[/font]

Conri nodded in thought and folded one arm, placing his other hand on his chin. "Hmm.. I see." He said, his eyes still downcast. He looked back up at her. "Just curious." He told her. "So you have something against Martens? It sounded like it." He said as he stuck his hands in his pockets, a slight smirk on his face. He liked messing with felines.

Miguel chuckled a little at that. "I am not a superstitious man, but, eh, why not? As for your shoulder, it appears to be broken, though, lucky for you, it is not bad. As long as you don't move it too much for the next two moons, it should heal just fine, hombre." Miguel finished wrapping Storm's wound and handed him the bullit.

"Thanks Miguel and also I'm sorry that I've caused you so much trouble handling me and my troublesome shoulder. Plus thanks for the bullet it will be a nice souvenir of me being shot. Also it will be a reminder to me that guns are nothing to go playing around with. They are meant to kill and nothing more. I also hope that none of my new found, ummm, roomies? Were hurt to much in the fight that happened to us just awhile ago."said Storm to Miguel while sitting around patiently to get his shoulder repaired.

Barnibus leaned over Miguel's shoulder toward Storm. "Good Lord, man, Inhale! You talk so fast one would almost think you're trying to talk your way outta trouble or something." Barnibus said to Storm in mock concern. In truth, he was concerned for the young man's well being, he just wanted to have a little fun with Storm so he would chill out. Miguel laughed a little at his comrad's interjection. "The others are in good hands. few injuries were sustained. Nothing serious." he said to Storm, giving a wink in understanding.

Feeling a little embarrased since he talked so much. Storm just looked at Barnibus and said,"I'll work on that." After saying that Storm decided to just rest. Once Miguel was done Storm was going to take a nap or something like that.

Barnibus just chuckled and gave the tiger a knowing wink. After Miguel finished with the bandage, the two of them left the room to let Storm rest a bit.

Jairus had been running for the better part of two and a half hours before he stopped just before a clearing in the dense undergrowth to rest a bit. He could still smell Bernadita's faint scent as he slumped against a nearbytree. He took this moment to study the familiar guitar he'd plucked from the tree where he'd first seen the white huntress. "So, you have not changed much, Blanca. Still inseperable from your strings." Jairus said to himself. Bernadita would be glad to have it back, of that, he was sure. It was just a matter of when...

Sitting on the couch Storm looked at his shoulder in a mirror and thought,"Man this is going to take awhile to heal on top of that I can't run in anichi form as fast anymore." Sighing with disappointment Storm felt bad because he can't do much with a broken shoulder. With that said and done Storm finally put his head down for a nice long nap with the days events heavy on his mind.

Jairus, when he had caught his second wind, began again through the thick forestation, following the white huntress' scent. He had been going along for maybe an hour before he sensed her scent growing stronger faster. He slowed down, then stopped, concealing himself in a dense cluster of shrubberies and waiting. Sure enough, in the distance, through the dense natural forest, came the white huntress, walking upright in her human form. "So, Bernadita, we meet again..." Jairus said quietly to himself as he watched and waited, careful to cover up his own scent so as not to give away his position.

Maxine finished eating and managed to shut the fridge door. She limped over to the counter and stopped, leaning against it, to let her foot recover for a bit before moving more. She noticed the two men, that were helping the tiger just moments ago, start leaving the room. She took a short way into the other room and stopped beside them. "Who are you two?" She asked, looking up at them from far below (in her Marten form).

Looking down at the marten that had just addressed them, Barnibus knelt down to her and smiled warmly. "We are friends, little one. What can we do for you?" he asked, holding out his hand to her.

Maxine stared at his hand, then dismissed it. "Some crutches would be nice.." She mumbled as she leaned against the wall. It was easier for her to move about in Marten form, but it was still pretty difficult. She sighed as she looked the man over. She didn't trust him, even though she had no reason not to. It was just hard for her to warm up to all these people she was suddenly surrounded by.

While laying down Storm started to have an excruciating headache. Then on top of that Storm started to hear the marten talk to Barnibus and Miguel."Hey keep it down will ya. I have a headache.Plus I'm trying to go to sleep."said Storm to the marten and to Barnibus.

Barnibus turned to look back over his shoulder at Storm. "Certainly, friend." With that, Barnibus swiftly and carefully scooped up the marten and quietly rolled out the door, careful so as not to further damage the small bundle in his arms. Once out of the doorway, Barnibus stood to his feet and strode up a flight of stairs and down a hall to an empty room. There, he layed the marten gently on the bed, making sure she did not lay on her bad leg. "Anything else I can do for you, little one?" he asked.
Miguel stepped back the other way, turning to the side and walking to a far corner of the room, opposite Storm. There, he turned around and sat with his back against the wall, crossing his legs and closing his eyes, breathing deeply, quietly.

Maxine rolled her eyes at Storm's comment, then looked back up at the man in front of her. She was quite surprised when the man picked her up. "Hey! I do not like being handled!" She grumbled loudly. "What is up with you people and holding small animals?" She huffed as she shifted in his arms. She was not use to having people around, and certainly not use to being picked up or handled in any way. She lived outdoors her whole life with little human interaction, after all. What happened in the woods with Jairus was not her choice, and she had not time to put her say in. Maxine mumbled when the man put her on the bed in the empty room. She quickly looked around, then sighed at the man as she changed into her human form. She swung her broken leg gently off the bed. "Crutches! All I want from you people is crutches!" She barked. She was not use to being so helpless, so she tried to show her 'toughness'. She stood up, standing on her one good leg, and tried to figure out where to go from there.

Laying his head down Storm sat there looking at Miguel quizzically before falling asleep. Drifting into a dream of animals and humans fighting each other. Storm was very sad seeing all of the brutality and gore around him. And Storm just watched everything that went around him not knowing what to do.

OOC; Okay, so I may be able to RP in this one! Lil Nin gave me a full review on it and I am back on top! So, let me try and enter with some dignity. ^^

IC: Kisho sat up in his bed, he had missed a lot that had happened, the last thing he remembered was walking into the library and seeing that girl who had saved him and Sio, he shook his head trying to erase the blur and remember what else had happened. But nothing was coming. Kisho placed a hand on his head and looked around his room.

Sitting in the corner was the girl, she looked up at him from a book she was reading, "Hey, you are finally awake." she said smiling. Kisho nodded slowly, "what happened?" he asked cautiously. The girl shrugged, "you passed out a few moments after you came into the library, so I took the liberty of carrying you upstairs, seems none of you so called friends cared what happened to you." she sighed and closed the book.

"Look, I know you don't know me that well, but...you may want to reconsider your friendships here." she said arching a brow, "after all... no one really seems to like you but me." she smiled softly. Kisho arched a dark brow, "I know they hate me, but it doesn't matter..." he paused and shook his head again, "I...I don't have anywhere else to go..."

Affinity Solus shrugged, "I know a place you could stay, it's definitely safe for someone like you." She smiled softly and touched Kisho's hand.

Kisho looked down at her hand and then pulled his away, "I gotta go." he stood up and walked out of the room.

Barnibus chuckled at Maxine's outburst. Reaching into his sleeve, the tall swordsman pulled out a small round rod and held it out in front of him, squeezing it lightly. All of a sudden, one end of the rod extended downward toward the floor, stoping after about three feet. He then pressed the top with his thumb, causing a much shorter length of metal popped out of the top, splitting in two and folding outward. "Speaking of crutches..." Barnibus said with a sly grin, intentionally trailing off and handing Max the makeshift device.

Maxine huffed and grabbed the metal device, and managed to make it to the hall way with the crutches help. She heard a door open, so she quickly looked to see who was coming. A big smile made its way across her face. It was Kisho. She went over to him quickly. "Kish, you're alright!" She exclaimed, then gave him a hug. When she realized what she just did, she quickly withdrew, blushing a bit. "I-uh.. Sorry." She gazed downwards, embarrased. She had no idea why she just did that, but for some reason, it was like she had known Kisho for a long time, like he was some type of long lost friend. She searched her memory, but couldn't remember ever meeting him before. She shrugged the feeling off.

Waking up with a big sigh. Storm got up from the couch and headed towards the kitchen to get some water and then to lay back down on the couch. Just looking at the ceiling."Why is this place so odd?"said Storm with a heavy sigh.

IC: Who knows how long he'd been asleep but jericho had finally awoken, but where was he? Plain walls, a bed, and no furniture......oh wait, this was his room, it had been so long he forgot. After what just happend who ever helped him must of placed him here after they patched him up. But what just happend? After a few minutes of thinking he remembered, and unfortunately he remembered everything.

The anger, the greif, the taste of blood in his mouth, it made jericho want to throw up. He couldn't stand being in an inclosed space any longer, he had to get out. He ran out of his room to the closest open place in the yard but as soon as he got there he tripped landing on his right side and unable to keep it inside any longer exspelled his stomach.
