wish manga
my friend says this is a good manga and i've heard other good things about it, but is it, you know...yaoi?

It is hinted, though I don't remember if she denied it or not. Only one character, so it is obviously unrequited.
Wait, that's yuri, you asked yaoi. None that I recall.
The story is not quite my cup of tea, though it is interesting. Better than "Demon Ororon."

Okay, no there isn't technically any yaoi. Notice technically.
The demons and angels have no gender. The demons are refferred to as he's and the angels are refferred to as she's to save on confusion. Now, some demons look like girls and some angels look like guys. But as they have no gender, it doesn't matter, really. One of the demons does attempt to hit on Suichiro (the "hero"). But that also goes back to the gender thing. Really, the only main character with a gender is Suichiro. It's really more of a personal decision to think of it as yaoi or not.
I thoroughly enjoyed Wish. I own all four of the manga. I think it's worth reading, or at least checking out.

I personally didn't like the first volume. It presents some funny ideas about God, demons, and angels. I guess it'd be alright if you're not weak to that kind of thing, but that story wasn't for me.
