Chapter 1: Pages 1-7[/color]

Soft is a romance/comedy/drama and a rendition of my very old comic Spring Breeze. Soft is a different comic altogether but has the same idea and feel of Spring, i took some events from Spring that i wanted to keep as well as discarding other events in order to better construct the story

the first 7 pages were actually done 1 yr ago around this time, i stopped working on it because I wanted to develop the story a bit more in my head. My style changed a bit after that so i tried to redraw the pages again but needless to say that didn't go too well. but then after lookin over these pages again i found that they were just fine to use so..

Nudity (or skimpy outfits): >> 1 << i was never really fond of drawing like that, but 1 just in case

The only thing is that there is some shading from pencil or something that's kinda blurring some of the drawings and making them kinda gray...

I remember reading Spring and liking it, and, although there is only 8 pages, I think I'm liking Soft as well, if not even better. Great art!

shade of dae: spring and soft share most of their similarities near the beginning but later on their stories will diverse substantially, so if it feels like the same comic so far its prolly because it sorta is but it wont be for long haha

okayy..
well first the good new!, good news is that i FINALLY have a thorough story thought up, so i'll be able to progress this little comic very smoothly now!
that being said i was able to finish pages more quickly because i know how i will proceed now, woot right?
haha

but then the bad news is that because of this developed story i had to scrap, literally scrap that is, most (that is like more then 50%) of the pages i've done so far; more accurately every page i did except for 1,2, 5 and 6 (5 and 6 being now page 4 and 5 respectively).
Reasoning for this is that the characters being portrayed thus far do not coincide with the developed story at all, Thus their removal; characters like Hikari was too aggressive and Hwann being too retarded and Fei etc..

anyways so where does that leave the current story now? well currently i'm 'ahem' back on to page 7 in the number of pages i have completed as of this entry ahehe..

as of this posting, ill put up the 5 pages from the beginning again in the main gallery with links to each other i guess.

I'll leave the scrapped chapters in scraps which now they respectively fit in haha

ill post new pages like before again starting thurs on page 6!

ah yes, if you did read the comic/manga (thank you very much!), i really recommend starting from the beginning again, even tho the new page i did is page 3 out of the 5, the story took a different turn then what i had before =p

ah i make my own pages to do paneling, basically just a huge box on paper where the comic will go in. From there the panels are done through measurements, it helps a lot to have a grid ruler. hope that helps
