Goodbye poem

For the end of the school year I wanted to do something special because I'm moving next month,so I made a origami boxes and put two choklit kisses and a piece of gum inside, and a poem I wrote, which I gave to all my friends. Here it is. ^_^ I think it's kind of cute.

In a wink, a blink, a whisper,
a whole year has gone by.
As soon as I said hello to you
I had to say goodbye.

So with a smile and not a tear
I will wave my friends farewell
Can I make others just as dear?
Only time and tide can tell.

But in my heart I won't forget
the times that we have shared
Nor will I forget the memories
of a year so fruitful bear.

So I will give to you these things
In hopes of you remembering...

I shall blow two kisses
that will ride the breeze your way
Together meant for simply you
and sweeten up your day.

A piece of gum, a stick of gum,
A "thanks" for staying true
And to remind you all life long
That I will stick with you.

And so my friend, I'll say goodbye
And throw a kiss or two,
So keep in touch and don't forget,
I'll never forget you!
