Okay, so now I'm curious. Where are most people on our theoretical age spectrum? No need to respond, just vote.

Going in five-year blocks might be more appropriate for the poll, though.

Possibly by editing your original post that created the thread? .... however, it probably won't let you alter the poll now without resetting the totals :(

Oh, and pardon my oversight: the first option really should be "Under 15." Otherwise some of you would be in a bit of a limbo.

Yeah, but when you get to be my age, it really doesn't matter either way. Why do I get the feeling I'm going to be very lonely in my position. Perhaps I can start an Anime Retirement Center where all of us older fans can watch the anime golden oldies to our hearts content.

Yeah, I think you're pretty much alone in your bracket. I added it with you in mind. Don't worry about it, I don't see any reason we should look down on you for being old.

On a side tangent, the Retirement Home near where I live gets Cartoon Network. Most of the residents there can't change the channel, so they watch whatever's on. One of these days, I'm going to walk past a bunch of old ladies watching DBZ, and it's going to be funny.

I wouldn't worry too much about them until you see them cosplaying. Thanks for the inclusion.

Yes, I'd worry about the cosplay.

I find it interesting that our teens bracket is, at this point, matched with our twenties bracket. I didn't realize we had that many here...

I'm actually not that surprised at the number of teenagers--I almost expected that number to be higher than the twenties. I'm not sure why I had that expectation--I think it's because anime or manga-related message boards or E-Mail lists I've been involved with in the past have had a majority of teenagers. I always felt kind of old...

It would be interesting to divide the twenties category up into 20-24 and 25-29 brackets. Then I'd guess we'd see more in the lower half--but maybe I'm just overestimating my age in relation to the general CAA populace.

Hey, that's only 22 votes right now; not even a fourth of everyone at CAA. I'm just gonna sit and wait.

LOVELY?!? That's not the work I would use. I would say, 'interesting.' A very wise man named Dana Walling once said in regard to a Work-And-Witness trip I was on, "Interesting is the word to use when you don't want to offend anyone. If you are served something like grubs or brains, don't say: That's Gross! Instead say, Wow, that's interesting! (and then don't eat it)."

Mine was pretty anti-climactic (I don't drink). I believe I sat around the house. :)

Yeah, that was pretty much what my 21st birthday looked like too. *sigh* Noboby threw me a party... (not that I would want a *keg* party anyway -- yuck.) Nobody even took me out to a birthday dinner... Nobody loves me...

Oh wait, that was 6 years ago! Lots of people love me now.

You don't remember your 21st birthday? That's a *very* bad sign.

I think CB ended up at the bottom of several Long Island iced teas, as I recall. Jordan had a few beers, I think.
