Camelot is the developer that made the Golden Sun games, so they own the character, but given that Camelot has partnered with Nintendo on games like Mario Tennis and Mario Golf, I'd say the chances of Golden Sun characters appearing is at least higher than many other third party characters.

As for Dedede's possible appearance, that would be AWESOME. I'm a big Kirby fan, so...I'd be very down with that. So long as they didn't use his terrible dub voice. And as long as they remember that Dedede isn't exactly a bad guy.

Yeah, I was pretty upset about what they did to Kirby in Melee, considering he was my best character in the original. Hopefully they treat the pink one right this time around.

I'm a little rusty on the story, but I recall Meta-Knight as also being one of those "noble" villains who isn't really a bad guy in the generic sense of the word.

Sadly, the original game kinda flew under my radar at that time, so I didn't get a chance to play it much. So I don't recall how Kirby was. All I know of him is his relatively crappy Melee version (though it's still fun to swallow people and suicide stage-dive )

I feel they wasted a character slot putting Diddy Kong in, frankly. I've never really liked the DK universe at all. I hope people enjoy him, though. I REALLY hope they didn't swap Diddy for Marth. That'd bother me.

I'd really like to see Midna in Brawl. That would be awesome.

I actually agree as well. Adding Diddy Kong feels like a waste of space... but whatever. There are evidently some DK fans out there.

I just know that I'll probably never use him.

Though I'm no big Diddy fan or anything, I will probably use him since he's a)small, and b)fast. Of all the other Kong's he's probably the best (and most popular) choice.

Though I wouldn't mind seeing Cranky make it as a playable character.

His A button attacks have a smaller range, do less damage, and have less knock-back. The B+Up attack has lower priority (I think) and B+Down attack now has a varying width due to random shapes, which removes what little use it had. None of his new abilities are that great and I find the inclusion of the hammer in his move set annoying.

Basically, Kirby was de-powered across the board.

Though I wouldn't mind seeing Cranky make it as a playable character.

Peach has TONS of inward beauty, more than Zelda at least. And also, Zelda was never goth like Peach was in Thousand Year Door.

Goth Peach = super hot. So Peach wins. Also Peach befriended a trainee wishing star and was able to use the power of her heart to help Mario beat an invincible Bowser. So she has outer beauty AND inner beauty. What does Zelda have? A Triforce of Wisdom. She doesn't have any inner beauty unless she has a magical artifact inside of her!

I think it would be awesome if they included alternate costumes for most or all of the characters. Not just different colors, but totally different appearances. Like maybe Link could have his goat herder outfit from the beginning of TP or something.

I have to admit, that is a pretty sweet item. It'll make for some fun random matches. I'm sure that this will look quite amusing coming out of certain character's mouths.

I want to see Peach using the Superspicy Curry. Srsly. I wonder if it does minor damage to your character. That would make sense, and it is hinted at [Sakurai: "I'm not sure if it's painful or fun."] in the update. Depending on the item's benefits, it would be a good way to balance it out.
