The length of some people's signitures... what I mean is... the picture-flooded signitures.

I like banners... they're fine... even some small pic in a sig I don't mind... but when people have HUGE pictures in their sigs - especially 3 or 4 that take a while to load and generally distract from the text post -

GAH! I find them annoying!

Most boards don't allow those... so... maybe that's why they annoy me so much - I'm used to not having to deal with them.

Can something be done about this? Isn't in the rules that people are not to have overly big sigs like this? I'm not picking on any particular person, as I've seen this with SEVERAL signitures here. It personally annoys me... I'm wondering if it annoys anyone else.

Yes, I am being an antagonist. It's how I am. Live with it.

Then why not PM the people doing(or the admins) it instead of dragging out so the whole board can see?

And I dunno, if it annoys you so much why not pray to God and ask Him to give you patitence?

Yes, it annoys me too, when it gets excessive.... and I have a fast connection. I bet it annoys people with slow connections even more. I'm not sure what the rules are about this...

You don't have to do a thing RoyalWing, if it annoys her so much she can turn off her ability to view sigs, that way everyone is happy.

Sorry... I just get a little fustarted when people get upset at other people for something they can take care of themsevles.

Methinks that some tension on bothsides is not about sigs, but that's just me.

Actually, sig limits are being looked at again in more detail. More information as events warrant. (Moving to Comment Box.)

Indeed, some sigs are a page big, excluding the actual post. I believe I'm patient enough to load them all, even if I have a 56k dialup, but really, somethings are just too big.

Well, doesn't matter. Mine's pretty big too I believe.

Just to let everyone know, the staff and I are acutely aware of this and are currently finalizing sig limits/how to implement them fairly. So please bear with us; we're sorting this out the best and fastest way we can.
