Looking for a GOOD romantic read. . .

I guess this thread was really spawned by Destroyer 2000's thread "How many guys are out there than enjoy the love stories in different Anime/Games?" The discussion in this thread turned to discussion of what made a romance in a book/movie/game good. So, now that it seems most of those who posted in that thread had a pretty good idea of what made romance bad (twelve year olds falling in love, terribly predictable stories, overly tramatized relationships), I was just curious if anyone has read any good romances lately. And I don't mean (or just mean) pure romance. I mean any book, regardless of genre, that has a rather substantial element of romance.
I'm bored out of my head with all the stuff I've been reading lately.

I would recommend Nicholas Sparks' "A Walk To Remember". Much cleaner than the movie.

"Court Duel", a fantasy book by Sherwood Smith, has one of the best romance plots I've ever read. It keeps you guessing till the end, and has lots of action to boot. ^^

A great romantic book I just finished reading is called "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers.
Inside the book, it warns that it is rated PG-13 and for good reason. It's kinda similar to the book of Hosea. Read Hosea to know what I'm talking about.

another great book by Francine Rivers is "The Crimson Thread." actually, all of the books that i have read by Francine Rivers have been great reads.
if you are looking for a historical/adventure/romance series, read the Appomattox Saga by Gilbert Morris. i am reading through the series now, and am on book 5 out of 10, and imo, the books get better as the series progresses.

Oxygen by John B. Olson and Randall Ingermason has a great, clean romance to it. It's also a sci-fi book (NASA, missions to Mars, set in 2010 sort of thing), and without a doubt one of the best ones I've ever read--Christian or otherwise. It's not centered around romance, but there's a good dose of it in there with very believable situations/relationships.
If you're into history, try also The Wakefield Dynasty Series. Each book (if I remember correctly) follows a generation of a family in England from the time right before Elizabeth I to the pilgrims coming to America. So, for there to be a next generation, there has to be a little romance in the previous one, right?
Seriously though, it's a great series. Also, for the history lover, try The Mark of the Lion Series by Francine Rivers. Gypsy actually got me hooked on this series and it's fantastic! Good dose of clean, Christian romance in there as well.
(btw, all these books I've listed are technically Christian, but none of them read like "christian" books--i.e. none of the cheesy bland morals just thrown in there or unbelievable characters)

The Time Traveler's Wife, it'll make you cry lemme tell ya.
Elsewhere in the Land of Parrots, it's sorta kooky and fun about two people that just sort of converge in one place.
How old are you btw?

'Not My Will' is a wonderful romance book. You should definitely read it, I loved it.
The plot was great and the book itself was very well written. I think you'd like it. And it's Christian too.
You should check it out.
