She threw up her hands and dropped the fire extinguisher, which was still gently spraying its chemicals, onto the intruder she had just subdued. She swallowed, studying the new attacker: a girl, not much younger than she was, with...was her eye red? "Who...who are you?" asked Raven, quietly. If there were two strangers on board, there could be more than that outside...
She checked a mirror on the wall to see behind her. So far, she was clear. That's when she saw her swords, laying just a couple feet to the right, on the ground beside the would-be thief, coated in fire retardant. If she could just hook her foot around the belt, she could have a chance.
Davidizer13 (post: 1471369) wrote:"Funny...business?" remarked Raven. She inched closer to the belt, eyeing the sword's point as it gently slid along with her. "I'm sorry, I don't know what you could mean..." Suddenly, the plane bucked to one side, then the other. A piercing drone outside echoed through the cargo hold - the engines had been started up. Who's flying the plane? was her first thought. Had the captain come back? Then why hadn't he seen their intruders? ...Were they being hijacked?
Well, if they were, she reasoned, it was best to go down fighting. Taking advantage of the moment, she ducked to the side and drew her sword out of its sheath, then flipped it up to her wrist. With a yell and a lunge, she swung her katana forward.

"I'd suggest you drop the firearm sir, our friend with the tattoos seems to be injured, however I believe she still might be able to squeeze of a round into your interestingly large head."
"Look! she's aiming now..." the goon looked. While he had been talking the scientist had been edging closer to the thug. Unfortunately for him, the side of a .44 magnum is not something pleasant to be struck with upside the head, his unconscious body hit the floor like a wet sock. "I trust ma'am that you were not harmed during the...uhhm...negotiations?Atria35 (post: 1471217) wrote:OOC: Rocky, we aren't in the ship yet. We're going to free Adele. We're still in the wherever place looking for her. So, uh, you can't be looking for the stowaway.
IC: Nia fired the last of her rounds into the goons and made her way past them. There. That seemed like the right door. She shot the lone guard that had been set- apparently, the others had supposed to be the failsafes. She gave a nasty grin. That hadn't worked out well for them, had it?
Kicking open the door, she saw Adele and two more men. She was being manhandled by one, and it looked like she could use some help.
Could the people they'd been negotiating with really have hired this many people or kept them in their employ? Whatever. She ducked and rolled as they set their guns on her, and as their shots missed, hers got one down. Nia made sure to aim for the one that didn't have a hold on Adele- she didn't want to hurt her. The other that was holding Adele let go for a brief second to shoot. The bullet gouged her thigh, but maybe it had left an opening for Adele to slip away.....

"Consider yourself truly part of our team!" Then, turning to Adele, "Are you all right? They haven't harmed you, have they? ...Come on, we should discuss this where we won't be shot at." Hearing shouts from outside, he glanced back out at the hallway.
That's when he glimpsed Nia, standing over an injured man and- was that Felix on the ground? He rushed to their side, his thoughts racing. "Felix? Felix! Here, Nia, get his legs]Silent Seraph (post: 1472302) wrote:"Truce, Nia! Don't move him till I check him out, I have a little bit of medical training, I want to make sure that his spine isn't broken in which case moving him would be a bad idea", said Marshal as JP caught up with the group.
After checking Felix, "Okay, we can move him but be careful, he's lost a lot of blood and his wounds are trying to heal, the bullets seem to have gone through without hitting any bones so we're good there. Unfortunately one did clip an artery and we need a real doctor here, soon."
