Am I the only High-Schooler (or Middle schooler, if coincidence is calling) that actually wrestles, much less knows what actual wrestling is compared to WWE?
Seriously, real wrestling is SUPER cool to watch. The WWE is just a punchfest that is scheduled, scripted, and basically makes real wrestling a mockery.
Do discuss.

I be a wrestler!
so what weight class your in? I'm in the 189's presently but wrestling seasons over so I'm gonna join our tennis team to shed more pounds (I'm currently 180 lbs.) my target weight is 161, so I'm getting closer to heaven.
about *TRUE* wrestling, yes it is fun to watch and to *fight* in a real wrestling match and not in a mock one.

My friends and I fight each other, although without as many rules as standard wrestling. I also know the difference between real and fake wrestling, and I have seen both.

I think real wrestling can be pretty cool. I'm moderately good, but have never pursued the issue. Also I'm not interested in worrying about my specific weight.
But WWE is a travesty. I think I could coreograph better action and my friends and I could look more realistic (not with blood, though). But who knows? Maybe the 10 minutes I watched were actually just the worst ones. In any case, I'm not going to bother again.

Well, part of my martial arts style includes grappling. I suppose that would count as wrestling. As funny as it sounds, I find grappling a lot more fun than ring fighting.
