Yup!^_^

Going tonight with my friends.
EDIT
Saw it, it was pretty good! I loved the fight scenes (even though sometimes I felt like my eyes couldnt keep up with all the mechanical awesomeness!)

Bumblebee is still awesome as ever XD.

It was a bit longish though... the plot dragged in the middle... XD

i'd also like to add that this movie has some questionable humor in some parts and I wouldn't recommend seeing it if you are easily offended ^^;

i give it an 8 out of 10

Saw it and enjoyed it. Not a masterpiece of writing for sure, and there's plot-tonium slapped everywhere to make sure that the story works out all right, and that everything is in place for all the setpieces, but it is a sight to behold. I was particularly thrilled with the quantity of transformers in this one, since I felt that the previous one was really missing the real volume that they showed on the TV shows at times (it seemed to come down to pretty much four through the whole movie), and in this one there are enough to really bring the scale of the battles out. All in all a fun watch, but not brain food at all.

I saw it. My friend and I were in awe of OP. But, just like in the first one, you don't watch it for the story, but for the fight scenes. I find it funny how like in the middle of the movie they are like "btw they are gonna blow up tha sun lol". Not a plot masterpiece for sure, but im going to buy it. HATED THE SEX JOKES. WAYY TOO MANY OF THEM.

Yah, I agree with this XD.
The end of the last battle scene left me with a "That's an easy fix, too easy..." feeling XD
And also, I found myself thinking the following:
if they hadn't killed Optimus from the start, they could have saved us an hour and a half of running around. I guess if a Prime was the only one who could kill The Fallen, I kind of wanted Sam and the others to find a way to defeat him without him.

And when Optimus DID come back his fight scene with The Fallen seemed a little too easy ^^]

I didn't like it. And I'm glad the boyfriend bought my ticket for me, because I don't think I would have payed to see this. Now, I'm not a Transformers fan..But the Autobots and the Decepticons are the only things I liked. And their scenes were sometimes confusing and dizzying. The Twins were insufferably annoying. I liked Soundwave, Ravage, and Arcee.

The dialogue was horrible. The plot holes were horrible.

Spoiler:
How was it possible for Seymour and Leo to be able to keep their grip during the Devastator's vortex thing and the Twins couldn't? And where did Sam's parents come from? Bumblebee supposedly took them away from the battle - and as soon as Sam is hurt, BAM! There they are again. Totally not away from battle. That bothers me. And the ending? A lot of running slow-motion through the desert holding hands. And after all this "ONLY A PRIME CAN BEAT MEEEE!" from The Fallen, it took Optimus all of two seconds to beat him to a pulp. They should have spent more time on this epic fight that they were giving the impression of happening. They didn't, but to my chagrin.

The humor was forced and I don't think I laughed once. I found myself rolling my eyes at the largely immature brand of humor and have a similar reaction to the pointless and also forced profanity. You know when people something curse JUST for people to hear them curse and be offended or shocked? I got that impression most of the time in this movie. Sex jokes and references were over-done and over-used for no particular reason.

I didn't see the first film. However, in my opinion, if I'm going to have awesome alien robots duking it out, I want to take them seriously. Not have SHIA LEBEOUF AND HAR-HAR-HUMOR and maybe those robots that change into stuff. The people were unnecessary, really. Also: The premise of Sam having information that Decepticons wanted in his brain was all-too much like Chuck. Which I like.

I, though trying to watch it with an open mind, found myself rolling my eyes and talking to my friend Brian throughout the movie (which I never do in movies) about the absurdity of it all. I felt like I was watching it in a daze. Watching, but not really seeing.

I will not willingly see this movie ever again.

Yeah, I'm kind of down on this movie. Sorry.

I liked the movie, but Sam's girlfriend was seriously annoying and I didn't like the twin robots and the small one the girl caught. I didn't see the first one, but I enjoyed the animation quality and fight seqeunces of Revenge of The Fallen. Bumblebee is the best!

Some friends and I went to see this. One of them found a 20 on the ground outside the theater and treated us to the movie. I was skeptical about it at first, but I do have to admit that it was, overall, probably worth every penny I spent on it. If I had to sum up my feelings on the artistic merit of the film, it would be this:

"Does the animation program you're using even HAVE any other effects?"

I liked it. Not my favorite movie by a long shot, but I did like it. I just wish the action scenes weren't so confusing. Probably my biggest beef with both of the Transformer movies, though, is that it's not about the TRANSFORMERS anymore, it's about the humans. They didn't flesh out the transformers' personalities nearly enough as they could've and that's disappointing...

Other thoughts:

1. Does Megan Fox ever close her mouth throughout the entire movie? Seriously... They overplayed her "sex appeal" in that movie to the point of being ridiculous. Who does a paint job on a bike with their butt in the air? Not real girls, no matter what they look like. XD Also I loved how in the scenes where Mikaela and Sam are running from the bombs or whatever, she is in the CENTER of the screen and he takes the side. lol. Transformers shouldn't need sex appeal to sell if you do it correctly.

2. I wanted to punch that Decepticon slut in the face. Needless to say, I was very happy when Bumblebee stepped in, lol.

3. Why did we need to see so much humping? Nobody wants to see humping... ew...

4. I don't think it was a good idea to have Sam's parents gross the audience out at the start of the movie with nasty sex jokes, then make fools of themselves at his college, then show up at the end to be all like "ZOMG WE LUV U SAM!!!1" I dunno, just kinda bothered me.

5. I loved that old Decepticon-turned-Autobot guy. Probably the highlight of the movie for me. lol

I have never been so under whelmed in my cinema-going life.

I didn't expect Shakespeare but I did expect a fun ride. There were some great moments of action and comedy but it was just too long and convolted. The twins were annoying and stupid, the humping robot was ridiculous, the action got boring - spectacle means nothing if you don't feel for the characters. The first movie was no masterpiece but it had more heart to it and was a lot of fun.
Megan Fox is sexy but a waste (or is that waist?)Wink of space in this.
My favourite parts were Devastator, the fight in the woods and some of the comedic moments (I also enjoyed the old Decepticon and Shia LaBeouf's acting). The humorous parts save this mess somewhat.

This movie shows why Transformers doesn't work as a real-life product.
It was bigger than the first movie but someone please tell Michael Bay that bigger is not always better. In this case, less is more.

Average to okay - 6/10

I actually liked this ending better then the first...Certain parts of it ALMOST had me in tears and actually engaged me seriously....becuase everything else was either already seen, or too much...

I was rather annoyed and dissapointed with the sex jokes and stuff for 2 reasons:
1. I was really hoping to have a large gathering of friends come for the "SUMMER MOVIE OF THE SUMMER!!!" But, becuase of the content, many of them chose not to come. Even those that did (myself included) found that it really ruined whatever little respect for the movie we had (till the end of course, but more on that later).

2. What made it worse was the audience reaction. Everytime there was a sex joke or inappropriate sight gag (of which there were many), the audience would just erupt in laughter. Everything else that was meant to be funny but had nothing to do with sex, was merely chuckled at. Made me feel even worse was knowing that there were tons of 6-10 yr olds in the theater, eagerly awaiting to watch their robotic heros fight only to get thrown into the perverse world that is the teenage-20something crudeness...

But with that, I will say that there were somethings that made it worth it all in the end:
1. The main theme of sacrifice, of which I really felt was very well done at the end.
2. While Megan Fox was still somewhat of a sex object (again), she seemed to play more of a "real person" in this movie than the last one.
3. The character of Sam was probably one of the better examples in the movie when it came to trying to "cut the crude stuff" as anytime another character tried to seduce him or when someone made a crude remark, he always would be the voice of "NO!!!!"

That's because Megan Fox is simply the poster child for "I-can't-act-but-I-fit-this-role-because-every-straight-American-guy-wants-my-clothes-off."

There are two types of guys in this scenario.
1) Those that enjoyed Megan Fox's presence.
2) Those that lie about it.

Or, you're gay.

Anyways, I just got back from the movie because for some reason everyone in my hangout group preferred seeing that over Public Enemies.

Lame plot.
Lame dialogue.
Lame acting.
Dizzy action.

Cool effects I guess.

...and then there's Megan Fox.

Worth my $8.50. =D

Well, if there is another Transformers movie and Michael Bay is the director, I say that Megan Fox will not be in it.

Yahoo.com

Michael Bay: Megan Fox 'says some very ridiculous things'

Oops. Looks like Megan Fox's mouth might be getting her in trouble. The Wall Street Journal asked Michael Bay about Fox's criticism of Bay's films for being special-effects-driven and not offering so many acting opportunities. His reply:

"Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, 'Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.'

"But I 100% disagree with her. Nick Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did Transformers — and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from Bad Boys. Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers. I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films."

Hey, look at me, I'm Nate and I see movies a week after they've been out!

My thoughts? Pretty much the same as the Nostalgia Critic's. It was the awesome, most amazing adequately satisfying movie I've seen this summer.

Good:

More Transformers (though we didn't get to know too many of them).

Fight in the woods - BEST.

Annoying guy lets parachute out too early. YES.

Soundwave is awesome. Especially because FRANK WELKER.

DWIGHT SCHRUTE TEACHES ASTRONOMY.

Okay, now the bad:

The beginning of the movie I was annoyed whenever Sam and his parents were around. The college scenes were mostly unnecessary and lame and not funny. I found myself saying "Should I go ahead and pull out my DS?" during the whole scene where they first arrive.

The final scene was way too long. Or maybe it's just that I was sitting in my chair going "HURRY UP I HAVE TO PEE" the whole time. Maybe under different circumstances I wouldn't have minded it.

That scene where they got through the gate without passports was pretty stupid.

The final battle should have been longer. And cooler. Also, Starscream totally should have stabbed Megatron in the back when he was staring at Optimus having beaten The Fallen and told him he was no longer fit to lead. Eh...

This is really just griping for no good reason, but I didn't like The Fallen's design. His comic design was much more awesome.

I saw this movie for free and I'm not sure it was worth what I paid for it (time). Then again, I've had a great deal of fun reading criticism of the film and laughing about certain plot issues, so perhaps it's not all loss.

Why I didn't like it:
- Basically no depth to any of the robots, far too much time devoted to humans I didn't care about.
- Every second a small robot was on screen.
- Each robot is basically the same color, reducing the fights to explosions.
- Really, I'm a person that will enjoy battles with no plot whatsoever, but I found almost all of them uninteresting except perhaps Optimus vs 3 in the forest.

Oddly enough, I did think they struck one emotional note right: when main character guy's father is trying to stop him from leaving, obviously mirroring the beginning when he pretended not to care that he was leaving for college. Part of me wanted to call this heavy-handed, but I have to admit that's probably more emotional depth than the rest of the movie combined.

You have no idea how many incendiary things came to mind just now; also, a comma doesn't go there.

Can we as a culture get over this "guys are all horndogs" thing? It's a load of bull, and the more we treat it as okay, the more it will become true. It's not funny. It's stupid. Megan Fox is just another lame flavor-of-the week manufactured celebrity, and some of us realize this and as such find her presence repulsive. No matter how shiny and colorful a wax apple is, it still isn't good to eat.

That said, I don't think I'll see this one. The first one bored me too much. I'll just watch the animated movie again. Give me my distinctive character designs and hair metal.

Sigh.
Learn how to take a joke, people.

Granted, I find Megan Fox unbelievably attractive, but I did find the obvious attempts to blow her sex appeal out of proportion to be borderline pathetic.
As did I with the girl that tried to make Shia cheat on her.

My family and I just went to go see it tonight, and half way through we walked out.
I thought it was disgusting, All of the crude stuff they could go without.
I really hated all the sexual talk and scenes between the one blonde chick and the main guy, and the parents, and the annoying dogs. the action I suppose was ok I liked watching them transform, but for little kids like my brother who love transformers it was disgusting. I was really disappointing.

(sorry for my whinnying but just wanted to warn some people)

I almost forgot. I know its a guys moving but does every girl have to be seductive?

That would be because of the recent attempts to make teenagers interested in franchises originally geared towards the younglings (the action figures).

Appeal to various generations, ya know?

Making action figure-based movies and filling with it with 'splosions and sex is how money is made.

Now. Let's see how crude G.I. Joe is.

Y'know, the more I think about this movie, the more I dislike everything except the fight scenes. I'm confused about a couple of things.

Okay, so jerk dude comes in after Optimus dies and says the President has disbanded NEST. The Autobots have to leave Earth. Then, NEST is flying to Egypt with the Autobots in tow. I'd normally chalk this up as them disobeying orders to help Optimus, but the jerk guy is with them? Did I miss something? Why did he let them fly to Egypt with the Autobots? Wasn't he shutting them down?

And another thing. After Jetfire says he's through with the Decepticons, Wheelie says "Wow, you can just switch sides like that? Okay I'm gonna be an Autobot too!" Then Sam makes a comment about him, and Mikaela says "At least he's loyal."

WHAT NO HE ISN'T HE JUST SAID HE WAS GOING TO BETRAY THE GUYS HE WAS WORKING FOR AND SWITCH SIDES. HOW IS THAT LOYAL.

I'm not gonna lie, I like a little sex appeal in my movies, for good or for ill, but Megan Fox seriously doesn't do it for me. She's too much, over the top. It's like if you gave the united states male population a poll on what they found attractive and then they collated those results in to a person, you'd have Megan fox.

As for the movie... I think I would have felt more kindly towards it if I didn't have to get up ungodly early in the morning for work the next day. As it was, the movie felt like a monster waste of time and money.
