Ya I was thinking the same thing. Statham is quite well built and ripped as it is and I'm sure he could bulk up more for the part easily. But he's only 5'10!

5'10'' is not tall enough for Jet! IMHO at least. XD Though, they could make him look taller I suppose... movie magic and whatnot.

I still think that Bruce Willis would probably be a little better. He has that kinda worn down gruffness that Jet has.

But... Bruce Willis looks a little too old in my book. Maybe when he was younger he could have, but... then again, Keanu Reeves looks too old for Spike, so why the heck not? XD

Well Spike is about 28 and I think Keanu looks young enough to pull that off. And Jet's somewhere around 36...And I think that Willis could pull of that age.

That makes me feel SO much better about all of this, really. XD I love that the original company is going to make absolutely certain that this movie meets their standards before they let it run rampant like the DragonBall movie. XD Here's hoping it turns out well!

That's a relief! I'm glad they decided that. With Sunrise having the last say in the matter, I'm looking forward to it a little more now. But I'm still nervous about the casting... :/

I'm very curious as to how he's going to look as well as what his wardrobe will be. Recently watching the Dragonball Z Evolution movie gave me insight to a live action film for the first time; I hope Cowboy Bebop is a little more... serious?

Yeah, I guess you're right. But I agree, I'm most concerned if he can pull it off! XD

That and I'm wondering who the other characters will be played by, and what the plot will be like. It hopefully will be better than Dragon Ball Evolution. (ugh!).

I think Reeves is awesome. Just because he plays emotionless roles doesn't necessarily mean he can't play someone with emotions. Maybe he just enjoys emotionless roles?

To Tarnish:
Keanu Reeves: Constantine (exorcist), The Matrix Trilogy (Neo), The Day the Earth Stood Still (Klaatu), The Devil's Advocate (lawyer), Much Ado About Nothing (bad guy), and some vineyard romantic film (the random man the lady picks up in order to fool her father into thinking she is married). Those are the movies I've seen with him in it, and I remember which part he played, merci =P. He's a huge star.

Anyways, nothing could possibly be worse than Dragonball Evolution.
