Yes! Oh, heck yes! I LOVE giant monster movies. It's nice to see that American filmmakers are still interested in them.

DID THE SHARK JUST FREAKING BITE THE PLANE.

THIS IS EITHER THE WORST OR THE BEST THING EVER.

It's supposed to be out today. I wonder where I can find it? I wish it had a theatre release, it's so much easier to appreciate 3D (yup, 3D) in a theatre.

I think it's about time for a stroll down to Blockbuster. Here's hoping they've got it . . .

edit: Looks like it doesn't come out 'til Tuesday next week. But rest assured when it does, I'll be there first thing after work to pick it up.

*dies from laughing*

It looks like those cheap CGI movies that show on Sci-fi XDDD. But looks entertaining!

BTW- I did some figuring with some friends. Judging from the way the airplane scene was shot the shark jumped ~30,000 feet in the air and intercepted an object moving at just a little less than Mach 1. In about 5 seconds.

Draw your own conclusion.

Haha I saw the commercial for this and it looks hilarious. XD

Why, thank you RFC. Up until a couple weeks ago, my name had been Spoonybard for over five years. I definitely like this better.

Tomorrow's the day! Going straight from work to Blockbuster, picking up my copy of Megashark vs. Giant Octopus and going home to watch it.

Just watched it. Wow. Not since the discovery of penicillin has something so rotten been so great.

That's why I love Giant Monster movies. They strip away the intricate plot, multidimensional characters and spectacular visual effects, and remind us why we watch movies in the first place: because it's fun. I'll take Gamera the Invincible over Schindler's List anyday.

This one's positively ripe for heckling, too. I couldn't hold back.

Aw, I heckle bad movie too. I can't help myself! They're begging for it!

And this movie looks like the perfect one to riff on too. Maybe we'll get lucky and the brilliant minds behind MST3K will do a riff track to this movie on http://www.rifftrax.com/ :thumb:

Well, if they don't, there's always iRiffs. One of us could make our own!

Also, what happens when two examples of giant seafood fight to the death:
