Web Browsers

I've been on a web browser hunt/kick as of late.
I'm on a search for one that has an auto-spell checker, good speed, internet security, and one that doesn't take away certain features available on certain sites (I have no menu for font, text, and formatting in Yahoo Mail).
Any suggestions ^__^?
I know have 5 web browsers now @___@ I really should narrow it down ^__^;

I actually just got Google Chrome for Windows XP today \o.o/ I haven't played around with it much as of yet 8D
FireFox is good, but I had to leave because it started crashing so much ^ ^; Then, I moved to Opera, but then it started crashing once everyday u_u Tis the same reason I left IE.
IE->Fire Fox->Opera->Safari & Google Chrome.
Heehee, I think I broke Safari for a little bit. I clicked the back button a couple times too fast (it froze) ^_^;

Wait... Firefox crashes you computer...? Do you have a lot of extensions installed, or something? I've never seen it be crash-happy before. o.O

Ooh, no no no no no no.. no O_O Not my computer. Just the internets ^ ^; Sorry if I made it sound otherwise ^^; It was fine until it auto-updated on me >_>
I'm loving Safari, but it also doesn't seem to like Caa Chat ^^;
Is it ok if I have two different web browsers open at the same time O_O?

NO!! XD I'm just playing but I prefer to have only one open. Its good to find one browser that'll do everything you need it to do without crashing

Lol, thanks XP
I'll stick with having Opera and Safari open for now ^ ^ Caa Chat doesn't seem to work with Safari. I forgot what it said, but something about a plug-in of some sort.
Wait, I haven't tested out Google Chrome out in the chat yet :-? I doo that later ^ ^
Does anyone else know of any other web browsers?

That would imply the PLUGIN doesn't work with the chat, not CAA.
Actually, just re-install quicktime and it will work fine. Safari is my primary browser for the CAA chat. I've found it works *better* than most others.

Just letting you know, you're not alone on the firefox crashes. Now, 2.x was one of the most stable browsers I've ever used. When I updated to 3, however.... anything that had to do with QuickTime, Flash, or Java caused me no end of trouble. I've figured out how to work around most of the problems, but I HOPE they get some of these bugs fixed before too much longer. They make browsing such a pain! >_<
I dub thee... BugZilla CrashFox!

Huh, that's interesting. Firefox never crashes on me and I've never had to do anything to it.

Help.. Again ^_^;

I'm not sure what I did, but I think I may have changed something to some option/setting in Opera o_o
When I try to go to another site from my bookmarks. It opens it in another tab instead of just replacing whatever site/tab I'm on o.o
Back Again.. >_>

I'll just make this my "Web Browser Crisis HQ" XDD
I solved my last problem (Opera not reusing my previous tab), but now I have another problem O.O
When I'm linked something.. lets say Youtube. I'm unable to find the tab (or window) it's in, but I am able to hear the audio to the video o_o
Any suggestions besides for uninstalling Fire Fox? That's more of a last resort for me. What can cause such a phenomena (ok, mayhaps that was a bit too much) O.O?

So...when you click on a link to something like youtube, the page doesn't appear, but you hear the audio? Or is it that when you close a page the audio doesn't stop? What do you mean? This is Opera, or Firefox?

SOrry, I was in somewhat of a hurtty <_>
Yup, the page doesn't appear, but I can hear the audio ^ ^. This only appears to be happening for Fire Fox 8(

Hm. I've never heard of this sort of problem. Are you sure it isn't opening in a hidden window somewhere? (check the taskbar for other FF windows?) Is this version 3.0? What extensions do you have installed (Tools->Add-ons->Extensions)? Does this happen on websites other than YouTube? Sorry for all the questions but I don't know what else to say ^^.

You can hit ctrl+Page Down or ctrl+Page Up to navigate the tabs in addition to clicking on them, this might help you find them. I hate to ask the obvious, but did you have a lot of tabs open? Firefox will stop making them smaller and give you the ability to scroll down the list of tabbed pages instead if they can't fit on the screen.

Awww no, you're fine ^__^ I've looked everywhere 8( Actually, I haven't tried miminizing all my other windows to see if it is by any chance hidden undernethe everything :-? Then again, the tab would still have to be in the task bar at the bottom.
You can hear the gears going as it tries to load, but nothing appears o_o It's other links as well.
Oh IM, why must you be so defient u_u
Lets see.. I'm currently using Fire Fox 3.0.6, and I have no add-ons or extensions. Wait, I do have McAfee Site Advisor but I've had that in the past and it has not posed any problems ^ ^ Oh yeah, I have yahoo toolbar ^_^

Perhaps one of those extensions is conflicting with a recent update? Is this problem is predictable (i.e. there are some links that always activate this problem)? Try temporarily running Firefox in Safe Mode (if you can figure out how) and see if the problem keeps happening. If not, then one of your extensions might be (accidentally) causing the problem. It's also possible some of the extensions have updates which haven't been installed yet. I've noticed Firefox to be rather lazy about updating extensions.
Also, this is just a random idea, but does one of your extensions have a mechanism to "disable blank tabs when downloading files" or something like that? Because, I could imagine a feature like that malfunctioning by removing more tabs than it ought to.

Yahoo Toolbar has been asking for an update for a while now, but that was way before this current problem arose o_o
I shall look into all of your suggestions ^__^ Thank you so much, Midori (I really appreciate it)

Yeah, extensions sometimes break when Firefox updates out from underneath them.

Is anyone else having problems with Opera? I forgot what it said, but I think the pop-up blocker shield thingy was infected o.o? Not sure how that happened, but it happened
Now, when I go to certain sites.. I'm redirected to "America's #1 Gold Buyer". Or, something like that o.O;
*Gargle Dies* Right when I get things to actually cooperate (YIM recognizing Opera as my default browser)... Does this mean I have to switch to another default web browser u_u?
