I don't know if anyone's seen this, but I found a new comic part of the Keenspot network.

http://www.rpgworldcomic.com/

I started reading from the beginning (I've only gotten part way through 2000, the comic is 3 times a week I think), it seem pretty funny. I'm not sure if there is anything offensive in it, hopefully not.

edit: Note - I have noticed a few bits of language used here and there, nothing that isn't broadcast television variety, and far less of it than most TV shows. Just FYI

The style seems at least somewhat Animeish... which kinda makes sense since the RPGs that seem to influence it are Squaresoft ones.

Hopefully I won't regret posting this link ;) Enjoy

The only problem comic wise is when Ian makes comics about the guy supposedly playing the game. Those aren't really that funny and has too much language and even some drug jokes I believe. Also there is sometimes on the link bar to the right links to inappropriate sites such as Slipshine. Hopefully you don't know it because it is a Hentai webcomic. That stuff keeps growing like a cancer. :shady:

There's some fanservice in the fanart, that's really all I noticed that was bad. Funny comic.

You will find fanservice in RPG World, but I read it and I really don't have an issue with it. It's a pretty good comic, and overall I enjoy it. There is some more intensive violence later on, but nothing here that no one has seen. Definitely not "g" rated though.

I've been reading the back-issues.... I'm almost up to September 2001... so far most of the fan service I've seen has been made fun of as much as anything.

This kinda reminded me of the list of Console RPG cliche's....

Hopefully it won't turn out to disapoint me as I go on reading it... if so I'll promptly make a public appology for posting this, and ask the mods to kill the thread (or somthing :D )

Well... if you really feel that way, I can make this thread disappear without messing with anyone's post counts. But I don't think it will be necessary... I personally don't find anything wrong with it, anyway.
