I need advice on wether i should get the ATI Raedon 9000 128MB for Halo or a Gforce card.

I have a Radeon 9000 in my dual G4 and it's a very nice, powerful card. Be more specific with which GForce you want to buy.

On PC, the newest card is the 9800 and I think they recommend at least like a 9600... If you get the all in wonder 9800 you will have kick-butt visuals and be able to capture and perform simple editing precedures...

Yea, my buddy just bought a new Radeon 9800, works like a dream. He had Halo before, and it lagged with everything that he had in his various computers, but with the 9800, it's smooth. So yea, unless you wanna turn all graphics options way down in Halo, get a 9800. It'll put a nice healthy $370 dent in your paycheck.

i was thinking about the 9600 xt, but it didnt get great reviews, im not sure what card would be good for now, my friends gf fx card, i forgot what number, it plays halo very nice
