I don't know what's the best, but I know what I'm going to get because it was recommended to me... I'm gonna get premiere, after effects, and encore (all adobe products) oh, and as a compliment to after effects, I'll get Photoshop as well... I may get the sound program too... Heck, I'll just get all of those proggies in a bundle. You can get a bundle with ALL the SOFTWARE you'll need for video production for just 1500 dollars (or the dumbed down version of After Effects and maybe one other program for 900) After Effects pro by itself isn't much cheaper than that, so to get premiere, encore, the sound program, and Photoshop as well is a very good deal.

:shady: Ignore him. ;)

The Adobe production packet is tops. Actually, if anyone has any Encore, After Effects, and Premiere questions, I'll do my best to answer them.
