Alright, literally, no one really knew of my personal life here at CAA. The thing was, even after I joined here, I was still a very deep backsliding Christian. Lust and Gluttony were the main problems for me.

I won't go into detail, but through lots of prayer and self-control, I overcame the two biggest sins reigning in my life. I'm now on a straight path to recovery, walking along side The Lord. He's given me the strength to leave my sinful ways behind and discover entirely new things.

Leaving those sins behind I've now had the time to regularly excersize, become more socially active, and not to mention get a little more in depth with one of my newfound hobbies (Cosplaying). I thank The Lord for helping me to finally win the fight I've been struggling with for many years now.

On a different note, I'd just like to thank everyone here at CAA as well. The churches around here have some quite shady characters that attend, so going there is really something I'd rather not do. However at CAA, I'm able to gather with hundreds of believers on a regular basis. So from the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you here at CAA, for allowing me to come to this Church every day and be with you all.

Hello, I am glad to know you're spiritually growing!

The battle of sin is often a lifelong one. What matters is remembering that God will always provide a way out for you when tempted so that you can still stand fast in your faith.

Keep it up. :)

I'm very glad that you've found a community of believers you can feel comfortable with.

All that being said, it would still be to your benefit to find a group that you can interact with face-to-face, even if it were something like a small group or Bible study fellowship rather than a regular church service. I'm sure the OC has to have something that could fit you better than where you were.

Be careful not to judge people at church. Your reason for not going has to be avoiding temptation your not ready for. You might have appeared to be a shady character yourself to some people, and you could be missing out on witnessing to someone by not being there.

I too am glad that CAA is such a beneficial place for you to be! But like others have said, it would be a really good idea for you to search for a church that you'd like to be apart of-- all of us here still can't offer you some of the major blessings that you could get from spending time with believers in person. So anywho, I'm happy to hear that things are going well! Keep working at it! :thumb:
