You write fanfiction?

I was wondering if any of you like to write fanfiction, and if so, what fanfiction are you writing?
I'm currently working on some Cardcaptors fanfiction. Since Nelvana didn't dubbed The Sealed Card, I'm writing my take on it. Also, I'm writing a CC/TRC crossover where the Tsubasa gang land in Reedington and there's a feather in that world! And I'm working on a "new Cardcaptors" series about Li and Sakura's daughter. And since Tsubasa didn't have a season 3, I'm writing what happens next, and since the OVAs are too violent for my taste, I'm writing my own version to (I guess the same stuff will happen, with some changes, and only implying violent events, not giving details). And I'm aware of how the manga ends, and....well, I'm gonna give it a new ending XD
I've never posted any of these fanfictions online. I've been debating on making an account on FanFiction.net though, but I'm not sure if anyone would wanna read this stuff, sooo.... XD
So anyways, what fanfiction are YOU writing?

When I have the time and the urge, I work on Azumanga Daioh fanfiction. The most popular one I've had is unfortunately the only unfinished one and the one that keeps people waiting. It's an account of Yukari and Nyamo's high school years. I also started a ridiculous parody crossover in which other fandom worlds invade the Azumanga Daioh one and the only way to stop them is by using a legendary mecha to rid everything of bad writing.
I have some other ideas written down, such as a Naruto fic giving serious attention to the female characters. It would involve some kind of mission, some development of Sakura and Ino's relationship (which could've served as an interesting parallel with Naruto and Sasuke's relationship, but Kishimoto just ignored it) that goes beyond love rivalry, something about the details of the Haruno clan, and something about this theory I built up that Ino and Deidara are somehow related solely because they kind of look alike, XD.
I think I have a few other ideas and while I'd like to write them, original stuff takes priority. Talking about it, though, has made me feel like writing these but I don't have time to do it, XD.

So is FanFiction.net a good place to post fanfiction? And do you know of any sites like fanfiction where you can post original stories?

by Ante Bellum
Original, as in not fanfiction, stories can be posted at different places. I know fictionpress.com is a sister site to fanfiction.net (I haven't been on there in a while, so let me know if I got the address wrong.). Otherwise, art sites like deviantART are places for fanfiction and original stories. You might try webook.com as another place for original works.
As for me, I used to write this comedy involving Tales of Symphonia, but most of my stuff (including the ToS one) consists of making up parodies with people. Lastest one was Metroid Prime 3, but I haven't gotten it written down at all. I mostly deal with parodies now, or my original writing.

Yeah, fanfiction.net is a good place to post fanfiction, though I only go there from time to time.

Yeah I decided to give in and sign up XD I find fanfiction fun to write, because you get to use your favorite characters and give them new adventures! Fun to work with them. However, I still love writing original stories of my own better, but fanfictions is a good past-time when you have writer's block and boredom Xd

FanFiction.net is good if you're willing to wade through the morass to find the stuff that's actually good. I spend quite a bit of time there, though I've had to build up my tolerance level for yaoi and such.
Anyway, I write a lot of fanfiction, mostly FMA. I've written 88 fics so far, though not all of those are FMA. Currently, since NaNo is taking up most of my writing time, I'm just weekly updating a series of oneshots called A Hundred Ways to Say You're My Brother, about Edward and Alphonse Elric and various stories that all show how much the brothers love each other (because hardly anyone else ever writes about them for some reason, so someone has to).
I've also got a novelization of a video game in the works.

I've thought about doing something like this. It seems like it would be a fun writing exercise.

I'm thinking about doing some crossover fanfiction involving my favorite characters from ALL my favorite series plus a few of my own. I think it might be fun.

It really is! I've done two video game novelizations before, and they were really fun. You get to take apart a story that already works, examine all the pieces, and put them back together again, sometimes adding your own things to it, and by doing so you can learn how stories work and then go on to write your own. Very good practice.

Okay so far I have an idea for a Kingdom Hearts fanfiction manga. It's going to be about Kairi and Sora's daughter. There are going to be anime, disney (of course), book, and movie characters. I'm getting excited about doing this, and I'm going to be on Christmas break soon so I'll have LOT'S of time to do ALL my progects. XD!

I've never finished a fanfic, but I've started several.
2 Sailormoon fanfics. One was about Chibi-usa's grandkids (Yes, I know they don't exist in canon) and one was... Well, it's hard to explain. It's shortly after Sailor Stars, and it involves the Sailors going to a college town in the US. And an evil scheme at the college. Anyhow, that was quite a while back and I didn't get very far with either of them.
I once started a pokemon fanfic that involved Suicide. It never went anywhere.
The fanfic I got the farthest on was a Silent Hill fanfic, and I actually want to get back to it someday. Of course, I think my original story takes precedence, but this fanfic had the most thought put into it and I have a general idea of where I want it to go and I pretty much know how I want it to end.
As for a Novelization of a video game, I've wanted to Novelize Final Fantasy 6 for a while. I think it would make for a great book and a great movie trilogy, not to mention a popular one as well if you didn't tell people it was a video game.

Those of you whose posted multiple fanfiction, which one is the one that is most popular?
So far, I have only posted 2 at FanFiction.net and the one that seems to be getting popular is "Dark Enshrouded Memory" a crossover between Cardcaptors and Tsubasa where the gang lands in Reedington.

My most popular story is "Azumanga Daioh: Yukari and Nyamo," which recounts Yukari and Nyamo's high school days. I started rewriting and reposting the chapters over the summer on a whim and probably won't get back to it for quite some time.

The only one that anyone's read is "Circulo do Abuso", my Silent Hill fanfic. So... Circulo do Abuso. It's not posted on Fanfiction.net, though. Not yet. Maybe I'll start work on it after I finish my first rough draft for my book, which I'm about 10 pages away from finishing.

Judging from reviews on FFNet, my most popular fic is A Hundred Ways to Say You're My Brother, which takes the popular concept of 100 themes (these particular ones are actually for a romance), applied to my two favorite characters from FMA, the Elric brothers. So basically they're a hundred unrelated (for the most part) short stories about two brothers. The point is to demonstrate how much the brothers love each other. That means a bunch of angst-ridden chapters as well as fluffy, happy ones. I'm about halfway through posting them.
On DeviantArt, though, my most popular fic is "A Borrowed Podium," which is a look at how each of the Elric brothers would react if the other died.

Entirely off topic, but my brother wrote a fanfic about a PERSON rather than a work of fiction... Of course, I'm not sure if that even counts, but he tells me he's found a publisher... O_o
All I have to say to that is if he makes it big, I want him to pay my school loans off... And pay for my next degree, because I"m going back to school.

Yeah, I know. I rarely find any Tsubasa fanfics that aren't KuroxFai >.<

There is actually a few fanfiction groups that are NON-YAOI! YAY! Even for Tsubasa Chronicles:
http://www.fanfiction.net/community/The_Ninja_the_Mage_and_the_NonYaoi/30638/3/1/1/If you want to look up more, just type in non-yaoi in the search engine and select the "communities" option. You may find a Community for one of your favorite series. If found some for Tsubasa Chronicles, Hikaru no Go, and FMA. XD!

I just saw this page, and as a Fanfiction writer I thought I'd post. I haven't dabbled in it much lately, but when I do write Fanfictions, its mostly for Yu-Gi-Oh, Avatar: The Last Airbender and some other random stuff! ^_^

Is Avatar: The Last Airbender any good? I might wanna check it out.

YES YES YES!!!!!!! One of the best animated American shows out there. Very clean (there are some religious themes, but if you like xxxholic, Avatar is probably less than that.) There is also some mild violence (no blood or gore), vaguely implied deaths, emotional scenes. But it's all dealt with tastfully, and nothing horrible is shown. There are a few kisses here and there, but no sex. As far as fanservice/nudity/sex goes, there is none. Just a few imodest outfits here and there, and a few swimsuits. There is a beach episode where some of the girls wear bikinis. If you want anymore details, you can always send me a PM.
Here's a review I found for it on another christian site:
http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/SpeedyAlchemistReviews/760736/ I think this person sums it up pretty well.

Ever and always, Yuu Yuu Hakusho. I did ONE YYH X-Men crossover, but that's not likely to occur again.
But, BTW---CCS is one of my all-time favorite series.

Heh, I write fanfiction. Usually I write about whatever's struck my fancy at the moment- and I have yet to finish one ><" But I've written about Star Wars, LoTR, Mononoke (last one may never go up, as it's supposed to be a collab w/ one of my friends and she hasn't sent me her part and it's been over 2 months! AAA!)
I also have the beginning to an original fiction sitting around somewhere, but.... Who knows? But I've posted my poetry on Fictionpress, and that seems to be decently popular.
