I'm writing this book, which I am making up as I go along, and hasn't yet got a title or or a plot. The chapters are short and I have writer's block. This happen to anyone else?

Yeah... but there is a solution. Go to the NaNoWriMo website a nd find the "dares thread. If you don't come up with something after reading through that... I dunno what'll get you outta your funk.

Hmm... what I find can help is if I sit down, close my eyes, and imagine I'm in the scene where I'm up to in writing. I try to imagine one of my characters, put myself in their shoes, and see if I can take the plot somewhere interesting. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't. Also, sometimes if you're just feeling 'blah' already on a day, it can be hard to write. Sometimes leaving the story for a while before coming back to it can help you see it afresh when you come back. ...Other times that can actually lead to you abandoning the story. ^_^"
Anyway, the dares thread, or just further thinking about the story can help. Maybe try to insert an action/event that's a little spontaneous and that you'll find easier to write with/within/during ...whatever the word I'm looking for is. .

All the best; I know it can be hard, but if you press through, it can be really rewarding!
