Have you guys heard of this??!
40,000 copies of Manga Messiah were sent to Uganda? that's amazing, and I can't find anything in here yet about it although I could have missed it**
seriously* they have some scenes on their site 'nextmanga'
(agh it's been too long~~~ I dont' know if I can stick a real link on this so I wont)
anyway* it's kind of controversial how they portray things* and I think it's very interesting that they use a mixture of modern and ancient words*
Is anyone in here a part of this project? They're making a new manga called Manga Metamorphosis soon.

I own it and I lent it to my friend who is currently willing to give a relationship with God a try. She says she's enjoying it so far.

I have a copy to see how the manga turns out. The artwork looks pretty good.

I've read this and it is good to see Christian manga actually by Japanese artists. Though I question their target audience, perhaps use in basic instruction about Christianity could be useful. I assume they have been translated into Uganda's vernacular?

Unless this becomes immediately denominational, would you tell me what is controversial? It struck me as a fairly tame literalist telling, which won't offend many.

I read a review that said that because the gospels are meshed together, it might cause some theological problems or something like that. Whatever the case, I find that it's a good tool to introduce an anime fan to Christianity.
