It's also funny how he basically took FMA and Bleach and merged them.

It only seems that way in the first few chapters/episodes. The story later on is nothing like either of the shows, especially the former.

I've read the first two books of Bleach, I don't see how they'd be similar at all XD

That description could generally apply to either series. Sure, the two series become dissimilar after awhile, but if someone only watches/reads a small amount of Busou Renkin, it could easily be passed off as a Bleach clone.

It also doesn't help that Orihime Inoue and Mahiro Muto look really similar...
