DND was gonna ask sooner or later

Does anyone play?Just wanna know if you have a die rolling program i can play as long as someone DM's I am a horrible dm.

I've never played a proper DND game... The closest I've come have been Diku Muds online... I was pretty active in about 3 of them.

Was real active in 3.5 for a long time. Picked up the 4.0 stuff. Not really my cup of tea. It's a fine miniatures game, but really not much of a roleplaying game. My group has switched over to Pathfinder which is really kind of like a bridge between 3.5 and 4.0.

I only tried 4.0 once we didn't like it too much in fact we barely do dungeons from the book we mostly use it for class references we make our own items,weapons,armor,enemies,etc.Our dm was hard but fair he would try to kill you the best he could and if you survived he was decent about the loot I once had to take down a dragon singlehandedly and I did with my attack of opportunity and got a dagger we called occult bane it gave you +25 str +50dex and a enchantment that killed anything occult:devils,undead,ghosts,werewolfs,vampires,shades,anything he thought of occult or dark was instant death unless it was in a non instant death aura which happened a couple of times. If you thought i was cheap with my weapon my paladins weapon gave him such a cha boost he actually pulled off the following I am not kidding:
made a orc general join our party after we walked into his emcampment
made the lizardman warrior king join our party during a quest we took a wrong turn
AND THE BEST OF ALL...made 3 undead warriors summoned by a devil general turn against there summoned and fight for us.

I've played a couple of rounds of 3.5... haven't finished a campaign yet, though. REALLY fun with a good group of people, and most of all, a good DM.

I haven't played too much, but that's funny that I see this now, I just got back from DnD club at school a little a while ago.

Any fellow Paladin-lovers?

I am a rouge lover the paladin is a great class though. Its cleric meets warlord a great class to play to heal and tank with its cleric type armor and warlord type weapons plus it can use holy symbols.Oh and for the record as some advice BE SURE TO BE ADAPT IN HEALING AS WELL EVEN IF YOU HAVE A CLERIC. It takes more then one cleric to save lives if the time comes and you need healing and don't have it your undead slaying spells don't seem so good huh. I knew a player who played paladin and used nothing but slight buffs and light based spells and we once went into a dungeon and our encounter with the dragon god would have went much better if we had someone to heal us. I am not sure if you do this but as a house rule we can choose our next skill we learn in a way made by the dm similar to a WoW skill chain.(he has a lot of time on his hands)so we could choose what we wanted to adapt in. By the way I never saw one of the guidebooks the dm explained everything to us we never got much clarification.
