Mac Gamers: Neverwinter Nights 2 in late Jan. 2008

For those who have a Mac and really like playing RPGs with great plot and characters and a complex battle and character build system, Neverwinter Nights 2 will be available for Mac in late January 2008.

Check out the Amazon listing.

As someone who has played the game on PC, I strongly recommend this title to RPG gamers with a Mac. Hopefully, Aspyr will also port the fantastic sequel expansion pack, Mask of the Betrayer, sometime in the future.

No need to play the first Neverwinter Nights at all. They both take place near the city of Neverwinter,... and that is about it.

I hope it is a good port.

EDIT: If anyone plans to play NWN 2, the first act of the campaign gets to a really slow start. The overall plot and characters are really good, so I think it is worth the patience in the beginning, and helps flesh out events in the later acts really well. When you get Bishop into your party in Act 1, the game pace starts picking up pretty fast.

There are game players on the mac?

No, but really, I'm glad to see this. I hope that the Mac gaming market is rejuvenated.

The mac gaming market has been rejuvinating over the last year. As they've started to take a massive chunk out of the computer market in the last few years devs have started to take notice of us again and start making games. A lot of deals have been cut for simultaneous release on both PC and Mac as well.

As for me? Laptop. *shrug* Not really a gaming machine. I'm kind of picky, though.

Yeah, Unreal is coming for Mac. That means mods that can be shared between PC, Mac, and PS3... THAT will be awesome. I'd love to share my work with my mac fanatic friends.

I have wanted to get back into RPG's. This looks it might be good, not that I have abundant free time. XD
